Terrible experience. I was told by one of the managers that they do not want my business as a customer. The manager at the time forced me to leave the property while trespassing me. Terrible business they running. If you have any other options of stores to shop at, please pick that grocery store instead of bjs.

I had my car’s tires replaced at their tire center. First of all, the person that did the replacement had no knowledge of the proper size of the tires and their placement. They are different size on the back from the front, but I showed him even though they have ordered the tires. After picking up the car, I noticed several scratches on the rims. I went back and talked to the store manager, Jeff, who explained to me that those were the glue they used to removed and replaced the tires. Granted, some of the glue were coming off. The person (employee) that replaced the tires showed up in the middle of our conversation (the store manger and I) and was very defensive and argumentative about his mistakes to the point that the manager had to remove him from our conversation. I told the manager that I would have the car detail and came back, and of the glue was the issue I would personally apologize to the employee and himself. After having the car detailed clean, there are noticeable scratches to 3 out of 4 rims in the car. I came back to the store to talk to the manager, Jeff, about but I was ignored and he never showed up to the front of the store where I waited for 30 min. This type of behavior md customer service is unacceptable I am canceling my membership. I will follow up legally with my options and advice everyone to stay away from this store and company. There are several and more qualified options such as Costco around Tampa Bay Area. I wish everyone good luck with this store but I’m definitely not coming back!

I was at the store yesterday after the hurricane and I asked the lady at the door (Debbie) if she knew if there was any propane and she treated me so badly and rudely that how was she supposed to know that she wasn't a fortune teller? When you work with the public and you have a problem, those problems stay at home. If you're frustrated, you shouldn't treat people badly, you have to have more empathy.

I don't know why people are complaining about the workers. I have never experienced anything but helpful and friendly workers. Maybe the customers that are complaining should look in the mirror and see if they are causing their own problems. They may need an attitude adjustment. That being said, I do wish this BJs was a little larger and had a gas station, but, oh, well.

I haven’t been shopping at BJ’s as much as before because no matter the location, the employees act like they hate life and their jobs and take it out on customers. This one wasn’t any different.

I went there to return 3 unopened items. I didn’t have the physical receipt, as one item was an online order, however I didn’t think it would be a big deal seeing as though I can see a record of all purchases through the app.
The person behind the desk immediately had an attitude and said this will take me at least 15 minutes to look up. My response was okkaaayy? I looked up the orders and had the order numbers and dates. What’s the problem? Anyway, after giving her the date and order number it did not take 15 minutes. I’m not sure if she expected me to walk back out with the items I didn’t want in the first place with her exaggerated timeline, but whatever.
The next 2 items were purchased in store and again, I was able to provide her all the information she needed from the app so that she could look it up in her system. She couldn’t figure it out and had to call a supervisor. He was very kind and explained the confusion to me and answered my questions. I was able to get my returns done and did not take 15 minutes to look for an order because the app provided all the information needed. I didn’t appreciate that kind of attitude from customer service, especially on my first visit to this store.

This store was well stocked and I was able to find everything I needed.
Something that has been difficult to find at other wholesale and department stores is feminine products. It’s been hit or miss at places I’ve been to lately in FL and VA. I appreciated that this location was well stocked and had a variety of brands and products.

This location has a tire center, but no gas station.

The fact that I have to drive an hour to get to a BJ’s location and customer service is so rude is reason enough to keep this BJ’s in my last resort list. I’d rather not spend my money at this location.

Buyers beware...you are paying significantly higher prices at the Waters store than the Clearwater store. We were purchasing a patio set at Clearwater and the one they had was slightly damaged. We were told the Waters store had two. We called the Waters store and they confirmed they did, in fact, have two of these sets. Both stores were offering an $800 manufacturer clip-less coupon. HOWEVER, the Waters store had the original "Member Price" listed as $500 HIGHER than the original "Member Price" listed at the Clearwater store. So the manager told us each BJs can price items as they see fit, there is no uniformity and no cross-club price matching. Basically, if you're in an area where people have more money to spend, the store will mark your items up. In this case, the $500 difference represented a 25% markup. That's huge! And they make no apologies for it. Take it or leave it. Wow...just, wow. We bought the much cheaper albeit slightly damaged product in Clearwater but we'll never buy any big ticket items from BJs again without calling each club within a 100 mile radius to check their prices. How can you sell the identical item to customers less than 15 miles away for $500 more? May not be illegal but it's definitely immoral.

I had the pleasure of being assisted again by Lyla at BJ's on W Waters Ave in Tampa, and I can't say enough about her exceptional service! From the moment I approached her, she was incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient.

I needed help with scanning all my products, as my dear late husband usually took care of the shopping for our family. Lyla took the time to explain how everything works, making the experience much easier and more comfortable for me. Her genuine care for customers and her ability to make me feel at ease truly stood out.

Lyla's dedication to providing excellent service deserves recognition and praise. She made a potentially stressful situation so much better, and I believe her commitment to helping customers should be rewarded. Thank you, Lyla, ? for your kindness and professionalism!

I really enjoy shopping here. The store is always well kept, has great inventory, is organized and they have very friendly staff. I want to give special mention to Joel for helping me find some products and help me use the app to find coupons. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I also want to mention Brian and Randy for their great customer service. I saw Randy offer to help load heavy items to a lady's car; that was very nice of him.
