Post office is closed until further notice. My parcels have come here and I cannot collect them. The Bury Park Post office has not been helpful in advising me how to proceed to obtain them. It would be good if they stopped accepting parcels in the window of time that they knew that they would be closed.

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. The person at the counter was extremely rude and seemed completely uninterested in their job. I went there to return an item, and instead of trying to assist me or provide any guidance, they rudely threw the package onto the counter as if they were annoyed with my presence. Their behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, leaving me feeling unwelcome and ignored. I would strongly recommend that the management address this issue to ensure better customer service in the future.

Basically the post office in this shop the workers make their own rules to push away big items they receive by customers looking to post. if its a large box they’ll say 2pm tomorrow you can drop it which means we don’t have space so come tomorrow. Why waste customers time?

Multiple times they say this even sometimes when you have a qr code for them to print the label, they’ll make excuses either they can’t take it for whatever reason or you need a printed label. no matter what size the item if the provider uses royal mail for return you can take it to the post office. These people don’t have the space so they’ll only take parcels that they’re able to store. For others they’ll make them run around in circles.

Bad service here if you have issues like I mentioned report this post office branch to the royal mail. Give proof and explain what they said or done. I would avoid this shop.

To the Rude Man Who Clearly Hates His Job

My first visit to this post office left a sour taste, thanks to a miserable little man behind the counter who seems to have no interest in basic manners, let alone customer service. I walked in, greeted him with a friendly "Good morning," only to be met with a heavy sigh and him avoiding eye contact, staring down at the counter.

I handed over my parcel (30x22x14cm, weighing 1.8kg), and requested "Tracked 48." He mumbled something about the price being "£5 something"—I couldn’t hear the rest because it seems opening his mouth requires more effort than he’s willing to muster these days. Politely, I asked why it was £5, as I typically pay around £3.80 for a small parcel.

This simple question seemed to irritate him, as he shrugged his shoulders, swaying side to side like a child caught in a lie. I asked if he was confusing it with a Medium Parcel, to which he smirked and arrogantly replied, “No, it doesn’t matter, it’s just a parcel, init.”

At this point, I had to educate him on the clear differences between small, medium, and large parcels (something he should know better than anyone!). He didn't care. Frustrated, I took my parcel and left. It wasn’t until later that I realized he was trying to charge me for "Tracked 48 Signed For" when I had only asked for "Tracked 48."

BEWARE, PEOPLE: Some post offices will sneak in charges for services you don’t ask for. Always double-check the price guide online—you can download it to avoid being overcharged like I nearly was.

Terrible PO. Lost my package which took ages to come. Didn't even appear to look properly. Collect parcels elsewhere
