I can’t recommend this company highly enough! Fantastic service above and beyond from start to finish. Paul did the quote for packing and removal, which was more than reasonable - and he made me laugh!! 12 pots is all I have to say!!! Charlie in the office sorted the invoice quickly and we were “ good to go” 10 days later! Connor and AJ how can I thank you enough!! You packed it all with me - with Brandon - also thanks - and we got it done. 52 years of “stuff” ready to go - no easy task! You were efficient and helped so much! Once you arrived at the new house on the other side of the country you moved everything in and helped put things together. Over and above the call of duty.(Connor every time I see a random thing in my mother’s new house I will think of us all trying to work out what the hell it was.) This is a company who cares!! AMAZING!

The lads who dealt with us had made us feel very relaxed on the day and wouldn't let us lift a finger! They took great care in loading and unloading our furniture and house items.

We used Barnes for a local move last month after a recommendation from a resident in the village. Unfortunately we were very disappointed - items were not handled with care, they seemed more concerned about getting the job done quick, especially when unpacking. They showed us one item that was damaged on the day and told me to put it on the paperwork and someone would contact me. No one ever did, and we have since found further items damaged. I rang today to chase / report the other items and was told as not reported in 7 days unable to claim. I understand there has to be a cut off period but who can unpack an entire 4 bed family house in under 7 days. They also did not estimate properly and the wagon was filled and we still had items left - they drove off to the new property and we had to rope in friends and family with extra cars. Overall very unhappy with the experience and would not recommend.

We used Barnes removals of Lincoln to pack up our furniture and the contents of our house in Lincs to then put it in storage until we found a property to move to in Northern Ireland.
We had some issues with the first move when the items were put in containers.
It was very rushed at the end and they had not allowed enough container space so some items had to be piled in as they were in a rush to get off.
We also ended up packing a lot of the breakable items ourselves as they were so far behind even though we had paid extra for this service supposedly.
When our house contents were then delivered to our present home the team were much better but we have consequently discovered several large items missing.some if these we are very upset about as one was a patchwork quilt I had hand sewn.
It is impossible to know after 7 days that all of you possessions have arrived safely and I am annoyed and upset to discover today more items that we no longer have , bedding and a tablecloth.
Presumably also "lost" in the move.
We know that at least 2 maybe more of our packed boxes were not delivered to us after being in storage.
I do wonder who they have been delivered to?
I would never recommend this company.
We have moved several times and have never had such a poor experience.

Barnes moved us from Lincoln into the Wolds. Awesome quick but caring service. Took the stress out of the completion day as well as helping the people further up the chain that had removals issues! The team were friendly and professional, they even brought in extra people that were in the area to get the job done quicker at both ends. Highly recommended firm thank you!

Fab service, highly recommend,. We did a long distance move over two days and the team worked hard, were polite and we're careful with all our belongings.
