SF, RWY, RV a long time ago. Well, I was TA long ago. I'm not likely to return. But, it was a good opportunity to learn, be active, and balance life. I don't know current risks for joining.. These days, I'd need a wheelchair to get to the main gate. Number 9!
I think joining was wise. Transferring on, oh no. Some of the things were neither, here nor there. All I can really say about reserves, in my case is, I'm still alive. Nearly 60, but still alive.
MoD should widen its acceptance of disability, and similar. There's lots of admin that doesn't demand "A star" assault course grades. Yet many ex-military have poor attitudes. I've seen it, I've descended toward it. Like officers, they are wearing the uniform that receives a salute, not the man inside. Really poor grammer there.
former members who don't want to return might think posting an update? Anyone got photos of cadre camp 1991?
