I worked at APC Overnight for 4 months and honestly it's a good place, I found it to be well managed, health and safety is greatly taken into consideration and acted upon when needed, the hours are decent and the supervisors are professional helpful and really good though strict but fair, and most also tend to help out other employees with taking cages and loading the belt and the like which is awesome if your section is missing people.

The other staff are a mixed bag, most are generally quite good people and polite and friendly and there's some good banter to be had. But some people can be rude and just unpleasant, and others don't seem to know what they are doing. This leads me on to the training.

The training team were some of the nicest people I have ever met and it was a pleasure training with them, however said training is VERY bare bones and some important things aren't included in training (starting the belt with the grey button, where damaged items go, what the lights on the belt mean) so you can feel a bit stranded early on, however most employees will usually help you if you're stuck, but I personally would have liked to have been told about some things in advance.

The work is honestly really repetitive but hey it's warehouse work, and you may get told off for trying to help out somebody on another section which is strange to me because you're helping your colleagues do their job IE taking them a cage or quickly jumping on an adjacent belt.

Overall APC Overnight is a pretty good establishment and made for an amazing first job experience that I am very grateful for, and I have learned many things during my time at APC. I recommend giving this company a shot if you're looking for work and don't mind some heavy physical work.

Bonus - Got an Xbox controller delivered by APC once, swift delivery and well packed, awesome service.

2 recent APC deliveries arrived next day:- exactly as per tracking messages sent to both SMS & email.
By contrast, I'm still waiting for a Royal Mail 48 hr delivery which is now 18 days overdue with with no communication and no information given on their online tracking system.
Guess who I'll be using in future!

I work at this factory. They treat you like a slave. I was on a night shift.
Mostly lots of non-English people there and the work is so hard X exploited their workers and only a 20 minute break do not work here

Received an email to say package was being delivered on said day, now still no delivery or reply from this company.
Very poor communication skills.
100% late every order
Very poor time keeping skills.
Dishonest and unprofessional in what they claim to be great at.

The go to answer is contact customer service and they will help, well the reason for the review is lack of customer service failed to help and I’m forced to leave a review for others to think twice about.

I have to say my heart sank when I recieved an email saying my package was going to be delivered by APC. I have never had parcels on time delivered by them. They are by far the worst delivery firm. So I follow my parcel on tracking, due between 2 and 5:45. At around 4 pm tracking stopped working ( conveniently) it’s now gone 7, the office closed at 6, no one to speak to. No email to say it’s delayed, nothing. I have sat in all afternoon for no reason. It is disgusting customer service.
So thanks to ACP my pets have no where safe to sleep tonight ( parcel was a hutch for my rescue Guinea pigs)
Still last time I had to find my cars tyres that they had delivered somewhere in Wales ( I live in Nottinghamshire)
Absolutely farcical company. I would not trust them with any parcels

When I placed my order I selected a delivery date. APC decided to come a day early so I wasn't in. It went back to the depot and I was asked to choose a new date which I did (Monday). They then sent me a message on Sunday saying they were delivering that day. I stayed in and the parcel never arrived. I had a message saying it was late and would be Monday! It did arrive on Monday but I have since had numerous messages apologising for not delivering the parcel and it may be missing despite me telling Amazon I have received it. Very shambolic.
