Hands down one of the best machinery shops I’ve ever dealt with. The team is incredibly helpful — not just trying to sell you something, but making sure you get the right machine for the job. I have been using this shop for many years, but this weekend I was the customer from hell. The staff looked after me and even phoned the owner to authorise an exchange and refund on an item that I had bought several months ago but had never used. The outcome was well over and above company policy. Thank you to all the staff at Chigwell and the young lady who is always pleasant and knows her stuff.

Bit deceptive... Buy your gas online. We looked online for a flogas supplier and saw we could click and collect here. We wanted to check in person if they had stock as we already tried other places that didn't have any. When we arrived we told them we had looked online and asked the price. They said no that was only the online price and it was more to buy in person. So we paid the higher price, and then after paying they say next time you should order online because it's cheaper... Not very transparent.

This place is amazing! And Bill Makes it that much better, the team is great in general, but from experience, Bill has been amazing to me! He’s helped me sooo much. His product knowledge is so vast and is just generally a lovely human!
Couldn’t recommend enough!!

In reply to my message I purchased two new machines off you and your guy on the till made the mistake of not putting through the 50 discount any normal company would allow that 50 to come off the next bill whether that be a repair or purchase of a new machine especially when that customer owns 10+ blowers, I asked the guy on till if the owners would reconsider this on machine collection and he told me you wouldnt.

Dealt with am garden machinery lamborne end for years now. Just purchased a few new machines for a new sector of the business. Bill in the shop is very knowledgeable and can’t do enough for you as a customer. Machines are assembled very quickly and to the highest standard. Aftercare is spot on and we at maple track services will continue to use am for all our machinery needs.

My experience with the staff at Chigwell is very good.
Professional and helpful, easy to deal with.
Last time I have conversation with the person who does the repairs - Very good guy, explain me in details what was wrong and how to avoid braking the brush cutter in future.
The only issue I have is they are taking too long time to repair my tools. From customer point of view is a lot. Both times they told me 2-3 weeks.
My chainsaw was repair for 7 weeks. My brush cutter for 4 weeks.
My brush cutter was more cleaner from how I left it - Grateful !!!
If you can improve this, you will be number 1!
I will still use you, but Please work on times of the repair.

AM Garden Machinery is a Total rip off and shame on you - My elderly dad (aged 89) left a hedge trimmer in for repair. The repair was to reattach the mains cable that had accidentally been cut. AM Garden Machinery advised that they would call to provide a price before any repair would be authorised. No call was provided and today my elderly dad aged 89 went to collect his trimmer as it had been with AM Machinery for 18 days and he was fed up with the situation of no price been provided and the lenght of time that had passed. When my dad arrived at the store he was advised that the repair had been taken place without our agreement as no price had been provided by AM Machinery.. My elderly dad was presented with a bill of £42 for a repair that was not authorised. Furthermore at a price of £42 I could have replaced my hedge trimmer. AM Garden Machinery took advantage of an elderly man aged 89. You also failed to notify us of this unreasonable charge before carrying out the repair which is the contract we entered into. As you failed to keep to this contract I will be reporting you to trading standards and seeking redress. Shame on you AM Garden Machinery.
