Absolutely brilliant customer service. Quick pickup at the NorthLink Ferry Terminal, gave me (a tourist) tons of info about town and how to get around. A great first impression of the Shetlands.

Always good customer service and usually not too much of a wait. However when are the taxis in Shetland going to catch up with every other taxi service in Scotland and actually let you know when they are arriving and or have arrived rather than expecting you to know irrespective of how far away your car park is from your house or flat?

Plane was delayed so ordered a taxi before departure. Taxi was waiting when we arrived Sumburgh.

And it was the nicest and sweetest driver. Friendly and good humored, he gave us a guided tour on the way to Lerwick.

Price was as expected for a three quarter of an hour drive.

Fantastic service. On holiday up here - I ended up in A&E with a broken ankle and our campervan broke down on the way back just before Xmas eve. These guys literally saved our Christmas by taking us to Lerwick and back from Hamnavoe to buy our Xmas turkey! Polite professional and a godsend. Thank you

Terrible call handling saved by a fantastic driver. While phoning to book a taxi this afternoon, the female call handler was rude, sarcastic and unhelpful. Even after giving her the full exact address and postcode of where we wanted picked up, as well as a description of the area, she laughed and said we were not helping. She needs to brush up on her people skills and realise that not everybody on this island is local. She could not have been less helpful, hopefully she is not like this on all her calls.

The taxi driver who picked us up, though, was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, very helpful and great chat which changed our mind completely about Allied Taxis. It would be a glowing 5* review if not for that awful call handler.
