You’re only allowed to check in 30minutes before your appointment time. Theres a truck stop less than a mile away, on County Line Rd, but tight parking. It’s a bit tight at the DC as well. Fast unload. No problems. If you’re a Werner driver, there’s a Werner Terminal/drop yard 13 miles away. No showers.

Slow unload. Got a 15k lb load and been waiting in the dock door for over an hour and my trailer hasn’t been touched. I’m the only truck here. Shippers and Receivers DO NOT CARE about drivers clock as if we’re not on a time based schedule like they are. It’s really unfair. Receiving hours Monday-Thursday 8a-10p and Friday 8a-8p.

Had a delivery for 9:30am on a Saturday got me unloaded quickly. My only issues is they have too many trailers in front of the loading docks which makes it tight to back besides that no complaints. Come no early the. Appt time

Parking for semis is very tight here
And the worst thing is that they place a Big dumpster right next to docks 29-thru-32
And because of this drivers can not back to dock31

I bought a brand new Master Cylinder for my Mazda from the South Florida Ave Location, after following through standard bleeding procedures I properly installed said Master Cylinder. To my surprise all of the brake fluid leaked into the Brake Booster, I uninstalled the Master Cylinder and dispelled as much brake fluid from the Booster that I could. Upon further inspection of the Master Cylinder the rear seal was leaking profusely! The part was defective and I exchanged it at another Advance that had it in stock, once I installed the second new Master Cylinder I noticed that the Brake Booster was hissing, common mechanics knowledge is that brake fluid ruins the rubber diaphragm inside the Booster.
So essentially, I was sold a faulty part that ruined a vital part of my brake system, I talked to the store manager and asked if I could get a reasonable discount or an exchange since the issue is Advances fault, the manager was respectful yet only could come up with a 30% discount on a $200 part. I then spent all day trying to get ahold of Advances HR and got no answers, poor customer service.

Really shocked me had delivery time 21:00 and have to wait for the almost 2 day to unload. Bull shit workers doesn’t know whether they have restroom or not!
