My go-to place for great home cooked food and a very welcoming bar atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy watching the boats go by.
But even better, loiter at the bar and enjoy friendly staff, welcoming locals and anecdotes from the many visitors passing through on the canal.

Lovely rural pub situated beside the side of a canal on private land on the outskirts of a village. Very attentive staff, good service and well prepared food. Certainly worth a visit on a summers evening.

Amazing pub. Great views. Staff were amazing and friendly. Decor and building amazing. Views near a lock. Cannot fault this place. Will definitely be going back again. The ham hock dish was amazing.

Can’t comment on food as did not eat here, will definitely try next time.

A beautiful pub with fabulous not overpriced food and excellent real ale. Wonderful friendly and professional staff. Nice place and when good weather outside is lovely to sit and let the day go by, lose track of time.
For those that are curious plenty of narrow boat action at lock No 3.
For those who like a walk this section of the Grand Union Canal is a very pleasant and easy toe path to amble along
I haven't picked a particular item/s from the menu as it's very obvious that all offerings are good.

Had a wonderful evening with my partner. Aesthetics of the place is lovely. I will be looking forward to spending time here in the summer next to the canal.

I had the Camembert (starter) as a main as I love cheese.
My partner had the risotto.
Also shared sides of king prawns and green beans!! Superb! 👌

Our go to local pub for the last 5 years. Food and service is always absolutely fantastic. We have never had a bad meal and always happy whenever we leave. The staff are super lovely and friendly

We went for Sunday dinner. We had beef and ordered the pigs in blanket and cauliflower cheese. The main meal was lacking veg, a couple of carrots & parsnips I feel was poor for a Sunday dinner. The beef was ok I like pink meat. The gravy was very thin needed more body. We had deserts the cheesecake was very good the Chocolate & Caramel fondant cake was dry and no caramel ousing out.
