First trip to Doncaster and really struggled to get a cab. Rang ACE and they were fab. Lovely drivers, bang on time and great communication. Definitely will use again thanks guys. Terrible service. Got sent a payment link for a car to the station. I booked it with plenty of time in advance and I have also have paid for it. Was expecting my taxi outside so I called, the dispatcher said the payment hasn’t been received although it has come out of my bank. Will now have to miss the train, lose out on £100’s worth of tickets as well as call my bank and dispute the charge. Avoid

Saturday 19th November 2024 my 18 year old daughter was picked up from Slug & Lettuce in Doncaster at 11pm as organised but wasn't dropped off at home in Arksey due to maintenance being done at the train crossing. The driver told her to walk the rest of the way home down the dark path at back of cemetery even though she'd asked him to take her the long way home which he wouldn't do. She was going to pay him for the extra milage too.

Because of this I gave a 1 star to safety reasons and not getting her home which is his job to get a person where they need to be.

I rang up Monday to complain and was told it would get sorted and I'd get a call back. Rang Tuesday as still no call back and told again I'd get a call back but it's Saturday 16th November today and still no call back so I have wrote this review.

I haven't used a taxi in years but due to injury needed to find a reliable taxi to get me to work. I rang round a few, most weren't interested or charged stupid rates but ACE cabs were simply amazing! Nothing is too much trouble, lovely chat on the journey and I felt really looked after. Their service is professional, prompt, reliable and I'm always met with a smile and good spirits . I've particularly enjoyed travelling with driver 3 who has been particularly awesome and feels like a firm friend after a number of journeys!! I would highly recommend ACE cabs to anyone 😁
