The delivery driver Ben could not get to my house because of emergency gas works and road closures so I spoke to Adrian (both from Depot 5 at Chandlers Ford) and between them they managed to arrange for me to meet Ben on a different drop and get my parcel on the same day. This meant I didn’t have to drive miles to the depot the next day. Adrian was fantastic on the phone and kept me updated as well as being courteous, polite and extremely helpful. Ben was so apologetic for not being able to get to my house (which was completely beyond his control) and was also kind, courteous and extremely helpful. Between them they have made my Christmas and because of them I wouldn’t hesitate to use APC again and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you.

Awful, was tracked and out for delivery between 1411-1611. Followed the tracking online and was down as 44th. The app read delivery 40 and was around the corner from my house. About an hour later I still heard nothing so checked the tracking and it had jumped to 38 then disappeared no longer being able to track. Thought about ringing but gave them the benefit of the doubt, by half 6 that evening I was fed up so called with no answer from the depot. I tried 3 different numbers before googling their location and driving there. Within the office was a phone that said pick up handset for visitors or collection which just rang out. Through my frustration I decided to cross there barrier and check the office where a couple of blokes were sat, I asked why the handset didn’t work and they didn’t say much however were helpful in tracking my parcel down. I was then sent to another depot down the road where my parcel was sat in the doorway. The bloke said he didn’t care much and the parcel had been there awhile. I decided not to pry as I was just happy to have finally gotten my parcel! You pay for a service you expect at least some customer service with it! Awful way about going through the process, no updates tracking or delivery failed or any notification. Technically I could have not even picked the parcel up yet as I’ve yet to receive a notification to say it has been delivered or collected. Overall pretty shambolic experience from them as couriers and would not recommend. If I could it would be zero stars as I had to do all the work myself, if I hadn’t chased this up I would probably still be sat around waiting so if you do have the unfortunate experience of dealing with them make sure to pry and chase them up as the whole attitude was sort of like we can’t be bothered it’s not our problem.

My parcel was supposed to arrive 8/5/24 between 15:19-17:19,the parcel was loaded onto the van at 9:40 according to tracking information, by 6pm still no parcel after trying to ring the depot with no answer, I sent a email and the response was it would be out for delivery the following day now between 16:30-18:30, given they couldn’t get it there earlier today I will now collect from the depot.What has happened to customer service! Where was the phone call from the driver to say he/she would not be arriving.This was a present that needed to arrive today!!

Terrible situation… retract a parcel back to their Southampton branch. Had email confirmation with date to collect.. Friday 22 dec.. when I arrived in the afternoon, the parcel office was closed. Chatted to a couple of workers who checked pallets for my postcode and there was no parcel. Was told that it could have gone back to sender, this is a fairytale as I was meant to collect that day. Can’t reach out to anybody today…tracking details freezes at out for delivery… my Christmas parcel entrusted to these people is missing…. I wouldn’t use them. Only one star because I had to put something or it wouldn’t post. Shambles

This was the first time I have used Acclaim to transport packages from the mainland to the Isle of Wight. They were great from start to finish. The quote process was easy and their price was very competitive. They delivered the packages bang on time to my doorstep. All staff I dealt with were helpful and friendly. 5 star rating. Would definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them 👍

Used Acclaim for the 2 man service onto the Isle of Wight as the company my elderly uncle has purchased his mattress from do not has a service to the island , the process was easy from start to finish plus they delivered to his room of choice A1 Service

Oh So Cherished

We were a long term corporate customer of Acclaim. But I can honestly say I have never dealt with a company who had so little customer care, not just when you have big issues to resolve, but those small issues too. We received a very consistently poor service and experience.

Acclaim didn't want to help us resolve our particular issues or try to meet somewhere along the path when a few things arose. It was a strange approach - just silence. It was a loss of an 150k contract this year to them, all over £900 worth of invoicing issues.

Unfortunately due to this unethical approach from Acclaim I would not recommend at all.
