We have used Luckes twice in the last 11 years and both times they have been absolutely fantastic, always going above and beyond. On our most recent move they also assisted with packing and the job was done to a much better standard than myself and my husband could have done! Everything was packed according to its fragility, items wrapped with such care. The house we were moving out of had difficult access due to being on a single track road so they loaded into smaller vans and then reloaded onto a larger lorry. Essentially moving us 3 times by the time they’d unloaded into our new home. All of this was achieved across two days.

But the best part of using Luckes was how pleasant they are to be around, we had a great laugh and they made the moving experience so much more enjoyable just by being nice guys.

Absolutely fantastic team of removers. From start to finish everything went seamlessly. I will be recommending them to ALL. Exceptional attention to detail with regards to planning (thanks Max) the awkward logistics of the move. The chaps on the day were very polite, careful and speedy. Make sure they get plenty of tea and chocolate digestives :-), helps the long day go quicker!

An excellent Removal and storage company.
I was impressed with all the services Luckes offered from the initial home visit, survey, speed of delivering the quotation, removal of my household goods and the storage facilities provided.
The team on moving day were very professional and nothing was too much trouble for the them. They certainly went above and beyond in delivering a stress free day for me.

They were so friendly and professional. Got everything packed up and put into storage, I was surprised how much stuff we actually had! We had our stuff in storage for a couple of weeks, they then came and delivered it on a day that suited us. They got everything unloaded quickly and safely, asked what rooms things were going in and they were very careful with our belongings. I couldn’t recommend this company enough! Thanks guys for lowering the stress of moving. Have a great Christmas and New years!

Our (other) moving company bailed on the day leaving us effectively stranded, completed, and with no way to move any of our items.

We phoned around everywhere, and luckily A Luckes & Son we’re available and at the house within an hour! They moved us completely, we’re very polite and friendly and took great care of all of our items. We cannot recommend them enough!
