We had a perfect Easter holiday at Anvil cottage. The accommodation was very spacious and finished to a very high standard, safe for our toddler to navigate and spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed visiting the fostered donkeys and exploring the gardens. It is well located for access to a wide range of attractions and the owners are happy to share ideas. We would love to return with friends - there is more than enough room!!!

Anvil cottage is a really luxurious and beautifully renovated Old Forge. We stayed here as a family with my two children on two separate occasions and thoroughly recommend it. All the beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are of an exceptionally high standard. It’s the perfect place to stay in a beautiful Wiltshire village, surrounded by lovely countryside and a perfect base from which to explore Bath.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful quiet village, yet close to Bath and Chippenham. The cottage was excellently presented and scrupulously clean, with all guests could possibly need. Lovely patio area and the donkeys are adorable! Definitely would recommend this cottage.

Anvil Cottage is the perfect get away! The cottage feels both rustic and luxuriously modern. It's conveniently positioned in the hub of the quaint village Biddestone. Gill and Andrew were so welcoming and helpful, I couldn't recommend more!

Who wouldn’t want to keep coming “home” to this incredible cottage? I can’t say enough about how delightful it is, with extremely pleasant and helpful owners, in the midst of a beautiful village, with a great pub across the green to boot. Comfort galore!

We adore staying at Anvil Cottage, Biddestone. We travel from Australia to visit family in Bristol and this is our base when we come. We love the village, the pub across the road and that holiday feeling you get from the location being in the countryside. Gill & Andrew are lovely hosts and we will always book when we venture to the other side.
