very bad, lots of people, and only one employee works at the post office. I sent money via Western Union, asked to send money in euros, and she sent it in local currency. When I came back and asked why she sent the money not in euros, she just smiled, she found it funny.

The worst service at any post office I have ever visited. 55 people in the queue and only two counters open. Even after waiting over half an hour to post a letter abroad, there were still over 40 people behind me. The Post Office should be able to anticipate demand in December. Dreadful place. Do not go there. I gave it one star because I could not give it zero.

I was absolutely appalled by the service I received at this post office today. The customer service person was looking into thin air knowing full well I was waiting to be called. When she eventually told me to come she said "oh the buzzer is not working" I wanted to send a provisional licence form via recorded delivery, plus needed a postal order. " the lady said " oh you need cash" I said I didn't have cash just a card..She did not seem interested in my questions and my request at all. I clearly said to her " your not making sense, I don't seem to understand what your saying" she then smirked at her colleague. I think the post office has a lot to answer for especially with training staff to have basic manners. I will not be using the post office in town again, extremely disappointed 😔

Utter shambles of a post office. Only 1 counter open (out of 6) and one girl helping on self serve. A queue virtually to the front door of WHSmith. How is this acceptable? Will never use again!!

Chronically understaffed, making the 3 machines useless if, like me, your transactions can't be completed without the intervention of the typically 1 assistant on duty 9-10 battling with unhappy queueing. Even my local sub-post-office has better provision at that time of day.
When the assistant was snippy with me on last visit - following a 15 min wait behind someone paying into multiple bank accounts (surely an increased business that has to be addressed in staffing resource - no wonder she seemed harassed) - I decided never to use it again.

Absolutely horrendous service, the staff was pleasant, don't usually use this postal office, but on Saturday as I was in Halifax I used it. Never again, out of the 23 items I sent, I've had to refund 6 people so far due to items not arriving.

All I can say is Extremely Rude staff at WHS, while serving me the lady started to serve someone else. 1-10 for customer service skills , staff need more training.
