Only went there for fuel, which was a little expensive. It appears that the main function is an excellent family run mechanics shop. It feels a bit harsh to only give four stars but that was based only on one experience. It is quite obvious that their strengths lie elsewhere, far removed from the vagaries of global oil prices and levels of duty.

Dropped my vehicle off with slipping clutch. They replaced clutch and now I have a noisy clutch release bearing. They said it was the gearbox which was fine before I dropped it off here. Skud preferred cash for payment his words avoid the tax man so no guarantee or receipt. I should of used Mr Clutch or Universal Clutch in Luton rather than a back street garage.

I have used the garage twice they have been professional on each visit, they have serviced my car, MOT, and fixed my issues.
I feel comfortable going their as a female and each time I check the prices plus the labor charge it seem normal.
After each Service I check the car and I can see the work has been done.

Always helpful with reasonable prices. Work completed quickly and to a high standard. The staff always happy to answer questions and share a laugh. They offer the service of filling up for you while you remain in the car. I highly recommend.

Have been taking my car here for years to be MOT'd.
Michael usually does it and is always fair when giving a pass or fail.
Have had work done on occasion to resolve intermittent problems.
Colin the owner is excellent at problem solving and never over charges.
Service is always very friendly and efficient and would recommend this garage to anybody. For issues like needing a new clutch they don't do the job, but give you name of specialist who they use and can rely on so that saves money too.
There are precious few honest garages around who don't rip you off and this is right at the top of the ladder.
Fuel is expensive, but what you really go here for is a first class traditional service and MOT.
Conclusion: Brilliantly run friendly family business who you can completely trust.

Tells the truth and I have never been disappointed Colin has always looked after my Vauxhall Cavalier which is now 22 years old .
