The check-in and vacate processes were very smooth. Storage was accessible with pin number, and it felt very secure to leave my stuff under RSS care. If you forget your pin, you can always go to the office. The staff are friendly and very helpful. RSS also provided me with the longest tenancy discount of 12 weeks, compared to others. That's why I chose and will definitely come back for storage with RSS!

I have only ever had incredibly positive experiences with Ready Steady Store, specifically the Manchester Central branch. Everyone has been so friendly, professional and helpful. Today I had a query about my remaining payments and paying upfront so I sent an email to the team. Within half an hour I get a reply from a lovely staff member called Andrew H and everything is sorted in lightning speed. Genuinely impressed with the professionalism of Andrew and every staff member there. Would definitely recommend!

Where do I begin, my experience at ready, steady, store was amazing . Staff were so helpful and always willing to lend a hand. Nothing was too much trouble and went above and beyond to help me. Karl was so helpful and patience with me, I felt so reassured and it was a lovely experience. He is a credit to his team and the store, will definitely be returning again!

Karl was really helpful and patient, there was a delay between moving into homes and Karl was amazing at showing me all my options, which were great. Karl is an asset to this store and really helped me out, made me feel at ease and I definitely recommend him and this store.

Good and quick experience in general but with one big caveat. The place seems safe, clean and up with the latest technology but customer comunication could be greatly improved.
The person that took my details and payment over the phone failed to explain to me that the Manchester storage unit has no Sunday entry unless the more expensive fee is paid. To clarify, my check in date was a Sunday.
I was asked to come in the day before to my check in date and once there I was told by a rude employee that I won't be able to come in the next day as I didn't pay the extra. I told him I wasn't explained this over the phone and that I can't be forced to pay the extra due to that. The staff member made me feel bad for not reading properly the information on the emails and said he can't do anything if I don't pay the extra fee.
I had to fly abroad on Monday morning so I ended up just paying the extra to avoid more last minute issues. What was my surprise when I got back home and reread the emails and it said very clearly that the basic fee would give me access 7 days a week.
I don't want to think I was scammed into paying the extra fee, I prefer to believe that communication and customer service could be much better. But in any case these are far from good business practices.
