Guys were very inviting. Pulled up my reservation easily, and got the equipment I rented out fast. Liked during the return how friendly the Spanish guy was helped me checkout and explained the charges with ease. I extended a day due to my movers canceling (not uhual related) and the guy on the phone assured me it was okay and the extra it would cost and over night check in if I needed. Love the transparency. No hidden fees. I have rented here so many times in the last couple years and honestly I go to them even though they are NOT the closest to me. But well worth the drive for service.

Terrible location
Trucks are in bad shape.
Dirty/unreliable

To start they didn’t have any vans available so I got upsold to a box truck and it was terrible. The truck was infested with tiny bugs that I didn’t notice until later while driving and seeing them crawling. The truck also did not have working A/C so the entire trip was uncomfortable.

To top it all off the truck overheated and I was stuck for 15 minutes until it cooled down and I could limp it to my destination. Photos attached.

Talked to general manager and he didn’t seem to care at all. Said “when I noticed it had problems I should’ve brought it back”
Makes no sense when all I needed it for was to move a desk. Got the job completed and returned.

Zero stars. Be mindful of renting from this location. You do a 24/7 contact less pickup they will charge you for equipment. Give you a truck completely empty. Then when you drive to your destination, there is no way to move items alone. Then, when you drive back to the uhaul go inside and ask for a refund due to no equipment and Gas and not being able to pick up my items. They manager Nicole is very unprofessional will yell at you and when you say your calling corporate she them proceed to call the police and lie saying I was running around the store. When all I wanted was to get my money back for them dropping the ball I have now sat and delt with police all with a 4 month old baby in a car seat. Never have I been treated so poorly by a business.

I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service provided by the reps there, especially the young lady who was there on the two occasions I went inside; cannot recall her name but she was very patient, helpful, kind, and most of all courteous.

Very pleased with the service to pick up a trailer hitch. Short lines, fast processing. This is on 56th street in Tampa, but definitely not a ghetto location as people write in their reviews.

Get your online service fixed. I did all of the prep work (furnished ID’s and such) the night before pick up, but had to do it all over again when I got there. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME!!!

Came here for a pickup order for packing items. The girl at the counter (no name tag) was unnecessarily rude and really shouldn’t work in customer service if there’s no one to hold her accountable for how she represents this business. The guy next to her, Brian, was helpful when she said we had no order (after telling us she had two orders under our last name), but this girl continued with her bad attitude. This pickup order was supposed to be ready at 9:30am, but at 10am when we came in, no one had it ready, and this girl was quite irritated she had to go gather the items. Will not return to this location nor recommend it to anyone. U-Haul of Brandon always has kind and courteous people working there; we’ve never had a problem at that location and will just use that one for anything we need.

I hope that either management will help this girl be a positive representation of U-Haul, or that she finds a job that she’s happier with. There’s just no reason to be rude and unpleasant to customers.
