Bought my wife a tv console and the glass along trim turned completely brown in different area on console reached out to kanes furniture given fake number for manufacture called again hung up on! Reached out to Corporate transfer to rep. Rep say I don't have know way of knowing that not my job. Now listen that's Corporate customer service I'm talking about. Please be aware of their products.

Great experience picking up a couch. We went at opening and had no issues. Remember your ID when checking in and your paperwork. Great bunch of guys working the loading dock. Would definitely do a pick up from here again. Thank you!

Bait and switch! When spoke to customer service he tried to pass off that I approved this ahead of delivery! WRONG!!! I never even spoke to anyone prior to delivery!! What a hoax, an evil sales tactic!! I don't need this stress, I said forget it, just pick it up and refund me he said they no longer do that; that once it's delivered it's yours forever because you signed for it (even though it was in boxes so really had no idea what it was), nobody was going to give me a refund or pick it up even though it was the wrong thing, missing pieces or whatever the case. Terrible customer service. Can't imagine treating customers so poorly. Irwin, this is your company, what the heck!? Kanes used to be knows for amazing customer service. Now it's awful!

If I could put a zero on here for the salesman I used at the Port Charlotte store I would. My salesman name was Dewey,
My wife and I went there looking for a living room set.
Dewey approached us he seemed nice but just like every other salesperson in the end they will try and get one over on you. We found a living room set we liked he told us he would give us a discount of $180 and gave me a price after tax. I told him we had one more please to go before we made a decision. We went to the RTG didn’t find anything that worked. So we went back there told him we want to buy it. I got approved for 0% for 18 months all I had to pay was Sales Tax and Delivery. I told him I wanted to walk around and see if I like anything else so we did. We didn’t find anything and as we were walking to go finish the deal he says do you want a FREE rug? We said we don’t really need it but if your throwing it in and it’s free sure. These were the old rugs they were trying to get rid of. We picked the least ugliest rug that we didn’t really need lol. When we were doing the paperwork he said it’s gonna show that I charged you for the rug but I took it off the price of the couch. I said I don’t care as long as the bottom line number is correct and asked if the original $180 off would still be part of the deal and he said of course it would be. As he is telling me the figures of what I would be financing on the 0% I questioned the numbers and he kept going around it. So I paid the sales tax and deliver and my wife and I left. We were talking on the way home and something really didn’t seem right she was looking at the invoices and it didn’t add up. I called him and asked him to show it to me on a itemized bill. He told me to come in his manager would take care of it, so we turned around came in at that point they messed up and were trying to screw us and they knew it because the sales person and the manager were talking about how they structured the deal and then when we started questioning it, they were trying to act dumb about it that they charged me full price for the rug + sales tax and just put it on my charge card without me knowing and tried to play dumb about it. When my wife started doing the figures and showing them the manager kept trying to talk over her. She even told him stop throwing numbers out there and put it on “the tape” the big calculators that prints the numbers. He wouldn’t do it bc he was still trying to screw with the numbers to act as if she didn’t know what she was talking about. He then said your correct you were being charged full price for the rug. We then told them they lost a customer bc they tried lying and tried to con us into something we NEVER ASKED FOR OR EVEN NEEDED!!! We will never do business there again and if the couch wasn’t exactly what we wanted we would have made them return everything. Business shouldn’t be done that way. My wife and I both run business and would NEVER try to con anyone out of anything. I would recommend if you use them PAY ATTENTION bc they are shady!!!! The manager also tried telling us the couch was $100 more then what the figure was to try and “hide” the extra $100 they charged us but when my wife showed him the photo she took of the original price of the couch without ANY discounts he knew they were caught and apologized.

The system at Fort Myers leaves no room for support when the store makes a mistake. I purchased a Lazy Boy Cabot recliner and set up a delivery with the sales representative for May 6th. I was advised that I would be called on Friday to set up a delivery window. That call was never made. When I inquired as to why I had not been contacted, I was told they did not have a delivery request in the system and I would have to reschedule. I spoke with the sales person and she agreed, we were supposed to have a delivery for May 6th. This was completely a store mistake and there was very little empathy or action taken by the store to make things right for the customer. Kanes should have back up and a way when they make a mistake to fix that mistake without inconveniencing the customer further. As the store would not make any concession to fix their mistake, I chose to cancel the order for a $1000 purchase. Poor customer service.

I was here to pick up my furniture, the check in was quick, they brought my stuff right to the ramp for loading and the check out was also quick

If I could give a minus to this company I would. They are rude, unprofessional and the most absolutely horrible furniture company ever. I work in the trade and I don’t recommend anyone to buy furniture from them. They are quick in selling you but resolving issues, getting a refund or a follow through with them will be impossible. I’ve been trying to fix issues with them for almost a year and so far not even a refund i can’t receive. Do yourself a favor and go to another furniture store you are not missing anything by using Kane’s. I will say the same to my clients.

In store associates are amazing and helpful. I ordered online during their black Friday sale and had my delivery change twice a month for 6 months. It took 7 months for me to convice them to give me what came in and wait for the rest. Every customer service rep i spoke to with the exception of 2 were incredibly rude. I ended up refunding my remaining order and most likely will not shop online again.
