I would like to write this review specifically to a 345 driver called Darren Simpson who was on the route from Ashton to Denton. This driver is such an amazing person and has restored my faith in people, such a kind person!

I was stood at the bus stop next to the set of lights with my 2 young children and my youngest had a tantrum as the bus just passed so unfortunately I didnt raise my arm for it to stop. I was still waiting when the bus returned on the other side and went over to explain to the driver that we was waiting and he missed us although not intentionally on either side.

This man was so kind that he turned the bus around right there and then solely to ensure that I could get my children home out of the cold with all our shopping.

Good deeds like this don't usually happen for us but this man paid it forward to me and my children this evening and went out of his way even though his service was finished just to ensure we got home.

I asked the driver for his name as I was so gratefully thankful to him and mentioned I'd like to leave a review expressing it.

Stagecoach you have an amazing member of staff right there, Darren Simpson thank you so much from me and my children.

Nice depot and it was like a bit of memory lane as years ago there was a bus depot virtually less than a quarter of a mile away in nearby Whitelands Road. However this is private property and appointment only compared to the then public property that was both Greater Manchester Transport then Buses. But it is big and clean.

Haven't got a clue who will be operating this depot until 22 03 2024 ,still hoping its stagecoach, some idiot called Andy Burnham has taken over the running of all bus services in Manchester and wants to run it like London, so clueless for it's future.

I would like to thank everybody at stagecoach Ashton for reuniting me with my phone, my experience with them was faultless especially the 219 driver Carl he could not of been more helpful and is a credit to the company as well as the driver who found my phone and the receptionist I talked with and the driver at reception.
