Jacobs Steel were acting for our Vendors who were, to put it kindly, extremely difficult to deal with. Luckily we had Jo Chatterton (Branch Manager) acting as our Sales Progressor. She was positive, helpful, responsive and proactive, and kept things on track and moving - especially at the eleventh hour when it really did seem like it might all fall through. At various times during the sale I spoke to members of Jo's team and they were all interested, helpful, down to earth and candid. A good team with a great leader. I couldnt recommend more, Jo and her team have such a personal touch not at all corporate, i think this personal touch sold our house and kept the chain togther after numerous times the chain falling apart not with Jacob Steele and while this can happen to any house, the communication, care, empathy from Jo and her team made the whole process so much better when we moved to them and sold our house within a week and move tomorrow.

We decided last summer to move house, so we started to casually look around. Dreading the hard sell that usually comes along with house viewings, we were not looking forward to meeting the agents.

From the very first moment of meeting Jamie from Jacob Steele Findon branch at a property, we felt like we had a partner rather than a transaction. Jamie was warm, friendly and interested in us and what we were looking for. He was keen to talk through every aspect of our thinking, as well as add to it from his experience.
I lost track of how many houses we saw with Jamie, Jo, James and Laura, but every time, we felt like it was a real positive experience.

This made it easy for us to decide who to go with to sell, and we were very impressed with the care and detail Jo and Laura went in listing our house, informing us of who was coming to see it, and what position they were in etc... We sold quite quickly, at a price we were happy with, and feel they advised us perfectly in this respect.

All the time we were viewing houses, Jamie kept suggesting a property that we had discounted online already- we eventually gave in and viewed it and fell in love - Jamie had taken the time to get to know us and our family and knew that we would love it, and didn't give up. We have him to thank for our new home that we are just settling into now.

The whole team are amazing - but I must also single out Jo, who managed a VERY difficult 9 house chain, which was hugely problematic that culminated in an exchange and completion in the same day to get it to work, not ideal, but she managed it perfectly, including messages during the evenings, weekends, sunday nights and early morning, all to get it to work for everyone, she cared about us all in the chain as well, she was having as many sleepless nights as we were, and we cannot thank her enough.

We cannot rate Jo and the team highly enough.

Our purchase was made difficult because of our initial sale being slow due to our lower chain, with its eventual collapse and the delays that ensued in trying to find a new buyer and start the process again.

However the demonstration of the teams communication with our vendor, keeping our purchase alive, managing expectations and supporting us throughout was invaluable.

All the team were incredibly welcoming, knowledgable and supportive with our purchase. Communication is key and they all excelled in this.

We are all so grateful to the Findon office for assisting us in buying what we consider our home for life. Without them, I’m not sure we would have had a successful outcome.
