Exceptional Service – Above and Beyond!

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Ms Saba at York Road Post Office recently, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to assist.

Not only did she handled my request with speed and efficiency, but she also went out of their way to ensure everything was done perfectly – double-checking details, offering helpful suggestions, and making the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and kind, and their attention to detail and customer care truly stood out.

This kind of exceptional service deserves recognition. Ms Saba is a credit to the Post Office, and I’m deeply grateful for her help. Thank you for going the extra mile – it made a real difference!

In the office side, the customer service horrible horrible! Who is working behind the window/ in the counter they should change job completely! Or fired them! All of them super rude, not patience, not helpful at all! Speaking with the customer rude and un respectful way which is not acceptable!! Shame on you guys!!! The customer not going there have fun or be friend but at least do your job properly and be kind if you are standing there man! Unbelievably awful how you are, how you do your “job”!!!! Just go away from that job guys!!! Don’t force yourself to be speaking with the people if you can not normal nice way and do that job….thank you!

Absolutely the worst PO with the rudest most aggressive staff i have ever had the misfortune of encountering. Godawful service this week in an empty shop at 10am. Ignored whilst server got up from her post to do goodness knows what. Then an even ruder woman opened a position and proceeded to bark at me as though i were both very stupid and very deaf. Who do these people think they are? They have NO RIGHT to speak to customers this way. When it's busy, as it is later in the day, the staff do as little as possible by engaging customers of a similar nationality in long conversations, ignoring longsuffering waiting customers. I have seen people almost faint waiting in the long queues. If you dare to send a parcel without tracking, you can be sure it will never reach its destination. DISGUSTING.

Best post office in London! Don't believe some of the things that are written here. I've been coming here for twenty years and the staff are always so helpful and courteous AND smiling, chatty and funny. Saba was particularly helpful and patient today when I had to retrieve and amend something I had already posted! Thank you all for your commitment to service excellence and being so sunny 🌞

Really bad service. There was a young woman on the counter and I asked her to help me because I wasn’t sure if I should write my name on the parcel so that I receive my refund from the company I am returning the parcel to. She was really ironic with me and asked me “oh you haven’t put a note inside? how are they gonna know?” and smiled sarcastically as if I am an idiot. Please learn some basic manners and don’t put your complexes on your customers, I just wanted to deliver a parcel and my day is ruined. Learn how to do proper customer service and if you feel like you need to put other people down to feel better about yourself then I really feel sorry for you. xx

Worst post office ever, the stuff are extremely rude , bad customer service, they have no manners, they don’t know how to speak to customers, this post office should close , its shame on you, you are a disgrace for the community, you shouldn’t represent the post office, can’t stand them.

I lived in Battersea for 17 years, I have no issues with lavender hill post office except for this one.

You should close and go learn some manners guys, many people are complaining about you, it’s big time for you to change or close .

DISGUISTING customer service. Women in the Post office on their telephones, speaking to family in other countries instead of serving. Men on the shop side would not refund OUT OF DATE AND RANCID food. AVOID AT ALL COST.
