Attended a baby shower here and it was lovely. The room was beautifully decorated! The food (buffet) was delicious, especially the freshly baked warm scones!
As soon as I got home I advised my husband we needed to try it out for a meal ❤️

We had a table of 10 for afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding elopement. It was absolutely perfect, they gave us exactly what we asked for and couldn’t have been more helpful before or during. The staff were excellent really attentive and helpful. Overall amazing experience!

Love this place!
Fab aesthetic, quirky decor, Spotlessly clean, great drinks selection, serves my favourite which is always a bonus, staff are friendly and very helpful.
Best bar in Durham for me by far, lovely atmosphere.

Wifey's afternoon out with the gals at The Curious Mr Fox was a girly catch up in this lovely little venue. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. As I was designated driver I ordered a chicken & chorizo flatbread with fries from the lunch menu and had a "zero fox given" cocktail. The lasses had pre-booked a brunch and ordered a sharing board together with some small plates and a variety of cocktails and prosecco. No time for many photos as we had lots of catching up to do!

Afternoon tea poor not a great variety or amount no butter with scone. Very slow service bringing out the coffee. Asked which hot drink we would like when first seated, I then had to ask where it was as food had arrived. Came to check if it was tea and coffee a while after I had asked about it stated no it was two coffees which then didn’t arrive until food was finished. Definitely not going back for afternoon tea. Very nice surroundings so liked the venue.

I recently hosted a party here and it was amazing. The staff were truly lovely, nothing was too much trouble. From the very first enquiry email until the night of the party the responses from staff were swift and very helpful. The buffet was beautifully arranged and tasted fantastic. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you are considering a party, go for it.
