We just completed the Mother’s Day flower arranging bouquet at Brocksbushes with the wonderful Kate. Her passion and knowledge is second to none and we all left with a beautiful bouquet to rival the demonstration bouquet Kate had made. Wed highly recommend Kate’s workshops (we did wreath making previously which was also brilliant!)

Kate and her incredible team created pure magic for our wedding flowers in July 2024. We started off with a few conversations about our vision, colours, the feel of the venue (indeed meeting at our ceremony venue on one occasion), and Kate’s hard work and inspiration created some absolutely magical florals for the day. Everyone commented on how beautiful their look and scent was, and crucially to all this Northumbrian Flowers’ ethos is with sustainability in mind: producing locally grown seasonal flowers and with no flower foam. Kate also came back the day after the wedding to repurpose the florals into arrangements that we and our guests were able to take away. I am so so glad we found Northumbrian flowers and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody! Kate is all round a lovely bubbly person, full of inspiration and advice, and all of this is so incredibly reassuring when you have so many thoughts and decisions around your wedding too. Another lovely workshop with Kate, creating Christmas wreaths. These workshops are intimate, well-thought-through and well-resourced. Kate takes time to explain each step, overseeing that you’re on the right tracks whilst providing a lovely bit of chit chat too. Thanks for a lovely few hours Kate!

Kate is an absolute dream to work with. Her communication throughout me planning my wedding was great and she really captured my vision. When I changed my colour scheme for the day fairly last minute she was on board straight away. We chose burgundy, blush and foliage to create a warm, festive feel and Kate nailed it! The flowers themselves were of impeccable quality and looked perfect all day, even the arrangement on the fireplace and the garland on our sweetheart table. My flowers have now gone away to be preserved because I loved them so much!

The most luxurious wreath making workshop I’ve ever attended! The venue was perfect, such a warm welcome (and warm drinks/mince pies on arrival) the most beautiful materials to create a stunning wreath with the best tuition. A delicious 3 course meal and amazing group of people - what’s not to love!

Had the BEST experience using Kate for our wedding flowers.

We were looking for something local, sustainable and unique and that's exactly what we got.

We chose the "3 B's" which was just ideal as Kate made the most perfect bouquests and buttonholes for us, and we got to spend a sunny afternoon in the garden before the wedding putting together mini table decorations from the incredible buckets Kate had put together for us.

Kate rang me for an initial conversation and asked questions I'd never even thought about, she knows exactly what to consider and is a true pro. All of my phone calls and emails with her were fab and I felt totally confident we were being looked after and that our flowers meant so much to Kate as well.

Kate did a wonderful job with the flowers for our wedding, beautiful natural flowers grown only 5miles from where we live which was lovely to know. Kate was wonderful, easy to talk to, eager to please and was very helpful with suggustions and ideas to cover both the church and reception flowers. We were lucky enough to have Kate’s beautiful flowers at our wedding in August 2023 and we can’t recommend her business enough. Kate’s expertise and talents are incredible. We booked Kate’s ‘3 Bs’ service so Kate provided beautiful buttonholes and the most amazing bouquet I have ever seen. I asked for bright colour and scent and was blown away by the huge volumes of herbs and stunning florals. Kate also provided 2 amazing displays that we used during the ceremony and later in the reception. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the flowers were. We would recommend the 3Bs option to any couple who is looking to involve their friends and family in the celebration too. We dressed all of our tables ourselves using jam jars from home and Kate’s beautiful local flowers and we’ll never forget the experience sharing this with our family the day before. Eve and Steve.
