Wouldn't recommend coming here for Amazon returns. They use a separate phone to process the return, but because there's poor mobile signal coverage in the shop, it takes forever. I had to wait 30 minutes to simply drop off my item and allow them to scan the QR code generated by Amazon. I'm sure they must have a Wi-Fi connection that they can use, but for whatever reason, they don't.
For anything else post office related, it seems fine. Parking can be a pain though if you come at a busy time.

Fantastic service from these guys every time I visit. Never any problems, and they are helpful to help with understanding the best options for delivery for me and my business. Easy parking, and usually not a long wait. Thanks team 🙂

Visited what was my old local post office in Lightwater today (we now live elsewhere), but as I was passing I decided to stop by to send x2 parcels via Evri. I had x1 QR code which was valid for x2 parcels - that’s the way it works with Evri, you can buy multiple parcels online on Evri’s website and they give you a single QR code for the Post Office/Evri recognised store, to simply scan it in order to print each postage label for the respective parcel(s).

The cocky and arrogant ‘know it all’ older man with the Yorkshire accent (Mr Burns lookalike from The Simpsons), refused to believe that you only need x1 QR code with Evri, regardless of how many parcels you’re sending, so long as each parcel has been purchased in a single transaction via Evri’s website. I even showed the man my order confirmation from Evri, which showed individual tracking numbers for each parcel.

Yet the utter arrogance of the man and stubbornness, meant that he refused to even attempt to scan the QR code to see what happens. His response was “I do this all the time, I know it won’t work so I’m not going to scan it, there’s no point!”

So off I went to my new local post office in a neighbouring town and surprise, surprise, x1 QR code scanned and x2 printed labels magically appeared from behind this particular postmaster’s desk.

Lesson learnt, should have just stuck with the new post office in my local town. I hope this foolish man reads this so he can educate himself, get off his high horse and learn from his blunder. It will save other customers wasting their time, inconvenience and misinforming customers! Had I been an elderly not so tech savvy customer, I’d have trusted this man and ended up wasting time and money calling Evri customer services and potentially paying more.

Be warned, don’t trust this Post Office, they don’t always get it right!!

Went into this PO today. How lovely to see smiley faces at the counter. Wasn’t sure what package to choose but needn’t have worried the man behind the counter came out and helped me with the correct size.
I know this post office gets very busy but the owners always have a smile and cheery word for everyone.
Well done Lightwater post office. Other PO’s please take note.

Very helpful and efficient, and lovely staff. Thank you. Also do passport renewal! Yay! Very limited space inside, but everyone seems to know how to queue, so all good, just allow a bit more time at busy times of day. A very valuable service to local people.

Went to lightwater post office to deposit some cash. Their machine that counts cash wasn't working. So the lady behind the counter had to count the cash manually herself. She could barely handle the notes because her very long nails. She counted it incorrectly twice and eventually she got there. There was no apologise. The rest of the staff at this post office are very efficient but this particular lady is incompetent.

Incompetent staff here. told one of my colleagues the medium parcel he was dropping off had the wrong label on it as it was forna small parcel & he needed to print it. Went back 10 minutes later, with the same original label on the parcel which was for a medium parcel and they took it, so wasting mine and my colleagues time.

Also have had an issues a while ago with passport photos I got taken here. No white boarder around the photos as required by the gov guidelines, staff were very rude when I went back to get my money back. Was told if they had known I was going to the Camberley post office to do the express paper work for my passport they wouldn't have done the pictures as they have issues before.

Always had excellent service at this Post Office. Have found all the staff here to be efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful.
This is our Post Office of choice to use from the surrounding area.
