Literally the WORST courier experience I’ve ever had. I was expecting a high-value Dior parcel scheduled for a specific delivery window (2:10–4:10pm), and what does UPS do? Sends their crusty brown-uniformed idiot three hours early at 11:31am — didn’t knock, didn’t ring the bell, didn’t call, didn’t even try. Just left one of those lazy “we missed you” notes like this was some optional side quest he rage quit.

And get this: I WAS HOME. All. Freaking. Day.

Your driver either:
1. Didn’t want to do his job,
2. Doesn’t know what a doorbell is,
3. Or genuinely thinks “delivery” means vanishing into the void with people’s stuff.

Now my expensive Dior sunglasses are MIA, and I have to rearrange my entire day tomorrow just to sit by the door like a starving raccoon on high alert, hoping this guy decides to do the bare minimum and knock.

You’re a courier company. Maybe try couriering things properly? Just a thought. 😐

Also, to the woman from UPS Dartford who called me today about my parcel: You lied. Boldly. Without flinching. That’s embarrassing. If lying was a delivery service, you’d be elite tier. My expensive parcel better be delivered on time tomorrow or else.

The only consistent thing about UPS is their ability to do nothing but disappoint. I genuinely hope your competitors destroy you in the end.

Yet another example of UPS’ terrible service. Paid for next day delivery - 7 days later, still no sign of my parcel. Customer service telling me it’s on the way but each day it mysteriously never shows up. Avoid at all costs. They are swindlers.

Several deliveries to this address have been delayed by up to five days even after paying for next day express delivery every time they claim the address was wrong however, even after extensive changes I had to make as they are too lazy to do so somehow the concierge of my building somehow refused this parcel even though they accepted parcels from amazon and royal mail on the same day for me this claim was from Steph in the dartford branch who when I quarantined why would the concierge to the building whos entire job is to accept parcels and let people into the building would refuse she got an attitude and spoke to me as if I owe her money. Steph if you dont like your bloody job find a better one, clearly you can't deal with complaints so I don't know why you are still employed in what I asume is the complaints department.
I see other parcels dropped off without issue from ups for other tenants of the same building so the lies I've been told will be dealt with.
Furthermore this isn't the first delivery I've had issues with and now you've delivered my parcel to a delivery sute 34 mins away from me, I dont pay for you to deliver it to a bloody shop but to my door. The last delivery before this one was had a next day delivery payment yet was 4 days late this one is 4 days late after me waiting for the bloody thing in doors you lot are an absolute disgrace and your drivers will be getting a piece of my mind also.

Update 11:10am 6th June: spoke with the concierge on duty yesterday and no deliveries were attempted from UPS so the supposed "refusal" never happened she also informed me that if for any reason nobody can accept it there are 4 buildings in a row all managed by the same company and same concierge so any of them could have accepted it so again another lie From Steph in Dartford.

Update 14:44 pm same day i get a notice stating sorry we missed you the driver came all the way up to my door didn't knock as I have been in all day again!!!! And leaves a note.

Update: I had to spend a further £40 on taxis to go collect the parcel, funnily enough the shop keeper said nobody came to collect the parcel for redelivery so the driver came all the way up to the 14th floor to throw a late note at my door without a parcel, absolute scum!

I ordered a valentines card from a small company who used UPS as a courier, disappeared off their tracking system and I was advised to report it as lost, it then randomly turned up 2 weeks later. I have just had an email regarding a delivery from GoPro saying the courier cannot find my address. I order from Amazon all the time and have never had this problem in 5 years. Both times I have had contact with UPS they have messed up. Absolute JOKE of a company.

Just avoid UPS at all costs when they are a chosen currier. Ridiculous customer service, robotic responses, constant delays, no explanations, unreliable delivery information and dates. Should have learnt from my first experience.

How they are still considered a reputable parcel company I do not know.

Retailers; DO NOT use UPS as a courier for your business!

I urge ANYONE ordering online to avoid UPS at all costs.
I don’t know who manages UPS Dartford but the UPS head office should issue an investigation into this depot site and fire whoever is/are responsible for losing/stealing packages, as I can see I’m not alone in this horrific service.
Context: I am currently waiting on a Bose product to arrive. It was shipped WEEKS ago. It was meant to arrive two Tuesdays ago and I had to reschedule it because I would be at the office - it never showed on my rescheduled date (even though I was given a delivery time). I called Bose, who investigated for me as UPS have no simple way of directly contacting them. Bose said UPS were opening an investigation as it was marked “missing”, one working day later I got confirmation it was still at the depot and would be dispatched again. It was due last Friday, no show and weirder still, the tracking page states a reschedule was requested, which I hadn’t done. So, I called Bose for the umpteenth and they’re still chasing UPS down for me. This whole process has been 2 weeks from the original delivery date.
Appalling service with very suspicious updates that have led me to believe the parcel’s been lost entirely or stolen by a driver - the latter wouldn’t surprise me as it’s a high value item.

UPS used to be very good. Not any more, they’re awful now, really poor. Probably gone from the best to the worst parcel delivery company. I don’t know if their Dartford depot is any worse than the rest but recently there have been problems with every package that’s been sent to me. IMHO avoid at all costs and lobby sellers not to use them.

Someone working at UPS Dartford stole my Gucci glasses that I ordered as it is somehow "missing". No updates on my delivery even a week later, this is after waiting in all day for it to turn up on the original date.
Will never ever use UPS anymore and will no longer shop online where UPS is the courier of choice as they are clearly crooks with thieves working there.
