Incident recorded on 3rd Apr 2024.
Duty Supervisor confidently provided incorrect info, stating DHL service points no longer handle delivery of low value wristwatch item £1,000, Internationally since Dec 2023. These are now deemed prohibited items, irrespective of the cost, insured or uninsured.
DHL confirmed this was incorrect and i returned same day to post said item only to be told by the same store supervisor "If i am absolutely confident i can proceed but entirely at my own risk".
All the while giving a very strong impression this courier work is a problem and making it abundantly clear that they don’t want to help at all. Truth be told the staff member (Supervisor) i dealt with came across as severely undertrained, rude and unable to perform the most basic of services here for DHL. I found another DHL centre 14 miles away with outstanding Customer Service.
DHL deserves better please give this DHL agency to someone else who is up to the job.

Not at all helpful, staff not interested if you have not completed the documentation at your home. Attitude is that you are wasting their time, the courier work is a problem for them and they make it clear that they don’t want to help you. They will give the minimum advice usually enough to get your delivery failed and returned at your expense and time. Give the DHL agency to someone else who will take a little pride in their service - please
