Whenever parcel goes to ilford royal mail we always have issues. Never delivered in single go. 15 sec ring in anytime in whole day and you need to be reachable and available to pick up. Else they return to office and tries to redeliver. Never given exact time when they will attempt nor tries to call couple of times.

Only unprofessional people work there and I received a paper at home to pick up the package and I couldn't even read the name on the paper, luckily I knew it was mine.....

Its not Royal mail.. its Lairs mail.. didnt even attempt to deliver my parcel to given address i had to wait till 8.00pm they said theu will deliver on 10 didnt 9.29. Till 1.29pm Tuesday 10th of june..then emailed me sorry can not deliver today we will deliver its tomorrow 11 of June 2025 3.29. To 7.30 pm i had to open my business till 7.30 they didnt come they emailed me again we tried to deliver no one was there..wait what you mean no one was there? It was my business place we waited till late.. u are a liar..now you saying we can not deliver come and collect it.. wow..what a shameful act by Lairs Mail..

DON’T COME HERE !
Went to pick up a parcel the guy behind the counter refused to help me. Instead told me I couldn’t do anything and my parcel would eventually go “missing”
When I came back a few days later to try again and after logging a complaint, he again refused to help and told me to call the complaint line instead, which I did in front of him! When he spoke to them he took my phone around the back and told them I was rude. When he arrived with my parcel my bank details were on my screen!!!!!!!!!!!
IF ANY MONEY COMES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT I WILL CALL THE POLICE!

Judging by the reviews I’m not the only person who had received such bad service. Why are these people working in customer service?

I have never experienced such terrible service! I stood at the parcel window for 10 minutes and no one came out to me, and this happened twice, and this at 8:30 in the morning. Not only did they not deliver the parcel, citing that no one was home, but they did not give it to me and made me wait.

Opening hours on Monday 8:00 -12:00 so no one wants to work those couple of hours !!!!

Bunch of idiots work there, asked for a delivery to a post office near me, they still tried delivering to my home, then said I can pick it up from a delivery office half an hour away from me, said to bring the red slip, if not then email and I'd, however the ugly bald guy at the front told me he needs proof of address if I have no red slip, and then the clown tried telling me he can book a redelivery to my nearest post office lol, like I've already asked yall to do it and you failed, not to mention, no red slip ever left, I don't know if it's royal mail or just clowns at Ilford depot, but I won't be doing anymore business with the place I got my goods from, as they only offer royal mail

Can't believe how incompetent Ilford royal mail is, they are liar's and fraudulent. And highly not helpful, they don't care about anything, I'll be ashamed to work here, I have no issues in Dagenham. I genuinely hate them.

They mark the deliveries as attempted but couldn't reach the property without even attempting to deliver in the first place. You know they didn't if you don't have a royal mail card mentioning that tried to deliver.
