I hired Direct Move to help with a move into storage and they were fantastic from start to finish. Two friendly and professional staff members packed up all my fragile kitchen items with great care and handled heavy furniture with ease. They managed to fit a large sofa through a tight front door and skilfully navigated the moving van into a narrow driveway at the other end — no small feat! Everything was stacked securely and efficiently into temporary storage. They worked hard, were very respectful, and made the whole process stress-free. I’ll definitely be using them again!

We moved on 3rd June and we have had a brilliant experience with Chris and his team who were Bill, Adam and Dave. They were all so friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, we had a delay with our completion and Chris drafted in another 3 members of his team to help speed up getting us into our new home. Chris and his team helped me move out my house that I sold and into their storage facilities and from storage into my new home 7 months later. All of team were super friendly, Chris even broke down my beds and took down my TV from the wall which was really helpful as I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own! They took great care to not damage any furniture or carpets and supplied all the boxes and tape I needed. I will be recommending Direct Moves to friends and family now, for both the storage facility and for moving.

Your guys were absolutely outstanding!
I am beyond thankful to them.
On the day of the move, the lift in my apartment block was broken, I was mortified that these poor guys would now have to carry the whole contents of the flat through multiple doors/corridors and 3 flights of stairs, but they did without complaint and with outstanding professionalism.
If I could give them 110% feedback I would!
Fabulous service….. singing your guys praise to all I know!

Would like to thank all at Direct Moves for the excellent service from start to finish. This company were recommended by a friend and we are so pleased we chose them to move us.
Chris came out to us and provided a very reasonable quotation which was cheaper than the other quotes we received.
We were provided with boxes, packing paper and tape all within the price.
On the moving day Tom and the team arrived promptly. They were all friendly, swift, professional and masters at fitting all our belongings into the two vehicles provided.
They worked tirelessly all day and nothing was too much trouble.
I would have no hesitation recommending Direct Moves.

Direct moves moved us from Sawbridgeworth to Hampshire. 90 miles/ 2.5 hours.
Clean, efficient and hardworking. Beds dismantled and reassembled at the other end. Great bunch of guys, all of whom were brilliant. All packed up in a couple of hours. Unpacked in one and a half.
Boxes for us to pack along with tape and wrapping paper dropped off a week or so beforehand. All clothes put in hanging rail boxes and hung up for us in fitted wardrobes the other end.
I cannot speak highly enough of this company. I would definitely recommend.
They left a little before us as I had to drop the keys off at the estate agent and they even called me to say junction 5 of the M3 had a diversion so we left at Junction 4.

The team from Direct Removals helped us move from our 2nd floor flat to our house and were absolutely fantastic! They were so friendly, incredibly efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. This company moved us 3 weeks ago. Great service, the team were very professional and considerate. We had been unable to confirm a date due to late exchange but Chris was great at accommodating us. A long day as we were movjng 90 miles away and had a lot of heavy items, but the guys just got stuck in and kept going. A big thank you.
