Timing and communication is key for a post office...isn't it...?!?

Arrived 18minutes before official closing time (at 17:30) to drop-off pre-paid package. Unfortunately windows were already closed. I was told to go to front of shop where I could drop-off packages, but that did not open till 17:30 and staff member was on break.
Staff were friendly, but eager to go home.
Think website needs to be clear - "Main post-office closing time is at 17:00 (so staff can leave at 17:30), then there is a 30minute period of NO-Service, after which the front desk will (or rather should) re-open (as the appropiate staff member were not there at 17:30).
Implications - A long pot-office queue filling the front of the shop, and clients being more than 30minutes late behind schedule for their next appointments.
...17:42 and we am still in waiting....

several times i have gone to use post office counter at front always shut lately due to staff shortage so take the service down!!! i drive there yesterday and was shut again even though it was empty in shop and man doing nothing behind counter.

I went they bout 6 I got told We are not post office we shop workers so we’re not taking a parcel and I remember they used to Take parcels in no matter what time it was

Checked the place is open, so travelled here to drop off a parcel around 4pm. Post Office main section was closed off, so went to the counter at the front. No members of staff there. Waited for someone to turn up, took a few minutes and the guy saw me and just continued wondering around for a little bit longer before eventually bothering to speak to me - only to say oh its for the post office, you'll need to come back at 5:30pm. What is the point in showing as open when there are no staff? Not only that but all I wanted to do was drop a parcel off, but he refused to do it! What an absolute joke.

When the main post office section is open my experience has been good. But how can you plan when they randomly close post office services and have hopeless staff there instead?

Advertised weekend hours are never adhered to. I have visited here on weekends on numerous occasions over recent months to be told the service is not available or is "morning only". Please amend your opening hours to reflect the service you actually offer and stop wasting your customer's time.

Need to adjust the opening hours on the website- travelled to drop a parcel on a Sunday afternoon and once again it’s closed despite saying it’s open online. Staff shortage seems to happen far too frequently.

Morrison post office is never open out of normal post office hours as it states on the website. when it is open the person who is there I think the manger is so miserable you wished you’d gone else where!!
