We've used Equator daily for 5 years for both international and domestic freight. They deal with all the main couriers and provide great rates. After dealing with TNT, FEDEX UPS etc direct for years we no longer bother. Equator negotiate better rates with them than we can and make everything a lot easier with their web portal. There are some bad reviews below here, but take it from someone with a lot of experience - these guys are great.

I sent a delivery to Brazil. Reasonable price and good customer service from the guy i dealt with. The parcel couldn't be delivered and they couldn't tell me why? They returned the parcel to the UK, and then charged me again for the return. I refused to pay as i didn't want it back and never agreed any costs and they went legal. Brazil have an abandoned and returned policy, neither option was offered and i never agreed to pay for the return. If you're busy and don't have time to get into a legal battle with your carrier, when you are so clearly in the right, id go elsewhere.
Paying twice for the non delivery of goods, left a very nasty taste. Im sticking with UPS.

**UPDATE -I've awarded another star as, more recently, they seem to have sorted their systems out and indeed are good value AND efficient.

They CAN be very reasonably priced and are nice people.

HOWEVER, they do seem to under-quote and frequently your bill will come in at twice what you were quoted.

As long as you ensure that you have correctly stated dimensions, insurance and service when completing the online quote and PRINT IT OUT then hopefully they will honour the price given.

As of Jan/Feb 2014 I seem to have mounting queries either arising from our people not quoting dimensions, just weights, or from the bills simply coming-in unexpectedly high.

On the service side, they are better than TNT but that's not saying much.

We have used Equator as the forwarder of choice for over 20 years for both overseas and domestic deliveries and they have performed consistently well and have been most competitive against TNT and DHL. ( especially for complicated multi drop campaigns) Highly recommended, and a decent bunch of people too.
