Those who argue against this service are those who believe that people shouldn’t pay their car tax and get away with it.
I stupidly forgot to pay mine, I hadn’t updated DVLA of the new address - which I have now - and the car got towed. The politeness they showed me despite what I suspect is a very challenging working atmosphere was breath of fresh air. They were flexible with a couple of the less usual requests I made, friendly throughout and we even had a joke or two. Obviously having your car towed sucks and is clouded in misery, but I want to say thanks to Tristan and the others say for making it as positive as it could have been.

Rip off totally sad that these businesses exist. Yes tax was expired for a month just but really this is a scam. Let's get them out of business as this is legal robbery.
Paid £230 to get the car back and they've done something to the car. The car was perfect and had MOT and all was working before they took it and now it's so noisy definitely something happened to the car when they took it. Shame!!!! Hope you enjoy the hard earned money.

Had these clowns pull up today saying they have been sent from the dvla. Tried lifting my E30 refused to show any I.D or and form of proof. Was very rude to my wife and my neighbours told them they were taking the car. Being very aggressive and swearing around the children. They were there for 3 hours saying they’re taking the car, within 3 mins of me pulling up from work they were pulling away with no car.

Stolen my car without any prior contact nor leaving any information. only found out it was this company after filing a police report and viewing neighbouring CCTV. now denying they have my car despite video evidence. Phone number constantly rings out, Ive spoken to 1 person after 1.5 hours of calling who hung up on me. Will be pressing charges

EDIT: seeing as you cannot answer your phone, provide a valid email address or online contact support, I will continue to communicate through here as its the only way you respond. I have a police crime reference number as you have taken my car without ANY prior notice, information or acknowledgement. You categorically do not have the right to do this, especially as I have all legal documents confirming the validity of status of the car. you currently have FOUR tow trucks parked on my street, why is this?

I would give 0 if it were possible. This industry should be more regulated. Companies working for Dvla councils and no checks on what they do.
Ridiculous fees. Picking up cars rather than clamping cos that way they get to scrap your car if you didn't know they took it. If you are lucky they tell you they have ot, otherwise its bye bye.

DVLA didn't register my car when I bought it and the tax lapsed so it was towed (which in itself is a disproportionate response - at least leave a note on the car before towing!?)
These thugs dented and scratched my beautiful car in multiple places as they towed it. When I questioned it they couldn't care less, obviously a daily occurrence here.

People leaving 1 star reviews only because they were annoyed that their cars were towed. Pay your tax so it won’t be towed!!

Anyway, I stupidly left my car parked outside for the longest time as I was using a different car. Long story short, it got towed but the people at the compound were so lovely honestly helped me out so much!

They were very apologetic for me having a bad day but it serves me right for not taxing my vehicle.

See one of these trucks infront of my car today my car is taxed and has mot my partners car also taxed but was stolen on the 1st September but you say you don’t steal cars? As soon as I drove off to get my kids this truck left too SO dodgy my car isn’t abandoned it’s taxed and has mot and I Use it everyday! So why was my car also about to get stolen when it’s fine?
