I want to write a review about the Arriva bus company. I have been living in the Kent region for several months now and I travel on the Arriva bus on the Chatham-Grain route. Excellent drivers, I have noticed several times how they get out of the cabin and help disabled people get on and off the bus. In a word, great guys, responsible people, I respect people like that. So I recommend this bus company.

I mean Arriva in general is pretty ok. I like the new buses that they have, clean euro 6 and comfortable. They have a decent service on some routes. However, some school buses like the 694 are usually late despite there being no traffic and this goes for the 633. Also, please can you fix the allocations for some of these routes because I sometimes see packed single-deckers on the 191 yet empty double-deckers on the 155. Anyway, at least Arriva does the best it can but it could have some improvement.

1934 from Maidstone bus station did not turn up. No explanation. No inspector to ask.

I never seen so bad service in my entire life. The drivers are sad and miserable. No customer services whatsoever. Ignorant and incompetent. They need to go for engagement and communication skills. Now I understand why my kids don’t like and want to use buses in Medway.

I do enjoy riding arriva buses. I do. However, the staff are not very enthusiastic much of the time. I can understand that as they get way too much abuse for just doing their job.

Buses can be late. Mainly the 176. I have lived by where it runs all my life. It's either on time or doesn't run. I also don't understand why they allocate the most silly allocations ever. It can be a really busy route but it's a tiny bus. Or double deckers trying to squeeze through hazlermere drive on the 176.

All in all, it's a good operator, I don't think there's need for a new contractor of the area. It can be improved though.

After numerous complaints it is time some serious action is taken against this company.

By children rely on this service for school, today one of my children was at a bus stop for 1hr and 10 minutes waiting for her normal bus. During that time there were 4 scheduled buses that did not arrive "4"!!!

Not to mention the dedicated school routes where my other child has missed because it easy either early or late and to full for them to get on.

We are paying a monthly fee for a ticket, in the grand scheme of things it is reasonably priced, but not if I have to go get them or take them to school.

We allow our children to get the bus as its a known quantity, we know where they will be, what time they should be on the bus and what time they will get home.

Absolute joke.
