Just had a good long term tenant give notice which is always sad but Ash very quickly marketed the property very professionally. It went up late Wednesday afternoon, by Friday morning I had 6 viewings booked and 2 offers from people who hadn’t yet viewed it in person. By Friday afternoon the contracts were signed and deposit taken. No void, slight increase in rent and 2 happy tenants. Really good service and comms by Ash.

Meeah was a fabulous and tenacious estate agent. I had a lot of issues with my solicitor and the seller’s solicitor — at times it felt like I was banging my head against the wall. But Meeah and Bridgfords were brilliant at keeping communication going, chasing the solicitors, and keeping things moving even when it felt like it would never happen. I honestly can’t thank her enough!

Had a viewing today for 3:45pm and the lettings agent called at 2:34pm to advise that they were arriving at the property in a few minutes and to confirm if we’d be in attendance. My husband let him know that our viewing was for 3:45pm but he insisted that as he was already in the area, he would only be available until 3:05pm at the latest. We wouldn’t have been able to make it in time as we live over 30 mins away from the property. That being said our viewing was for 3:45pm and we’d planned our day around that.

The agent kept saying he wouldn’t wait around for over 40 mins at a property and he was the only one working due to unforeseen circumstances. He didn’t want to have to travel back and forth between the office and property which is understandable but how does that concern us? Why book a viewing on a bank holiday with insufficient cover?

We had booked in this viewing days in advance so it would have been courteous to make us aware as soon as there was a cover issue. He wasn’t being understanding at all and wanted us to bend over backwards at his convenience. After a bit of back and forth he stated that the viewing would have to be rescheduled for another time. Unfortunately that doesn’t work for us and we asked to cancel altogether. Extremely unprofessional with a very poor attitude. A shame as we liked the property
