I am sick of being lied to by DPD, I've spent 6 days trying to find my £90parcel of specialist cat food which they claimed they missed me on 3rd and 4th January no one came near my property. I've had my parcels thrown on the rubbish on the main road ( can't see from my house) thrown on the drive in the pouring rain( can't see from house) I've had them left smashed to bits twice, smashing £46 of James well beloved pouches. Giving me a 0900 phone number and lying to me about that being in uk, they keep you on that line for asclong as possible as they get a kickback from it.
I ve finally found some info on the Lincoln site yesterday 8/1 saying they are asking the consignee if they can return it to them, which is against the law, its an offence called Assuming the rights of the owner. The consignee gave up legal ownership when I paid them for my goods.

Shocking, I would give zero stars if I could. Received a text saying my parcel will be delivered between 7am and 9pm, then I receive a text saying the robot will be with you within the hour which doesn't help when your not at home, this happened twice and now have sent it back to the supplier which i now have to sort to get it delivered again. They never gave me the option to have a human deliver it whom could of put it in my safe place which I have on my account.

Like so many other reviewers, my experience of DPD delivery is absolutely appalling!
Parcel arrived at Lincoln depot on 29th May. Notified out for delivery on Monday 2nd June 16.19 to 17.19hrs. Further message at 16.20 to say 30 minutes away. Further message to say “you are next, be with you in a few minutes.” Followed by email “Sorry our driver missed you, he will not be back today but will return tomorrow 3rd June.” It’s now 10am Tuesday morning 3rd June. Have tried tracking parcel, but just says it is at our Lincoln depot. I used to think DPD were the best couriers out there. Not any more. So MANY unhappy customers. Appalling.

Update: 3rd June:
Despite numerous assurances throughout the day that my parcel was ‘definitely’ out for delivery, it did not arrive and had actually never left Lincoln depot.

Further Update 4th June:
After strong complaints to DPD and the suppliers plus Amazon, the parcel finally arrived at 2pm today. The driver said that he thought the reason why it had taken so long was probably because none of the other drivers wanted to deliver a parcel which weighed 75kg. So it appears that if your parcel is heavy, use a different courier!!! As it was we helped the driver to unload. The supplier wrote a very nice message to me, stating that they were going to give me a partial refund because of all the angst. Very kind of them as it was not their fault. However, to date the ‘partial refund has not materialised! Not to worry, I’m just glad that I’ve received the item and am pleased with it.
End of Saga!!!

I've had a text message saying 'as requested my delivery date has been changed' - it was not requested by me! Just contacted them (do 141 to withhold your number then stay silent, you will be connected to a human), apparently Chris, shift manager at my local depot (Lincoln) has changed the delivery date. Cheers Chris! Premium Sunday delivery that was supposed to be. I've now got to wait an additional 2 days for my parcel and collect it from a local store, as I will be in work on Tuesday and DPD will not let me collect from the depot today. Rubbish company.

My delivery driver Nathan never delivers my parcel. I leave notes to leave with a neighbour and he never does I never get my parcels 4 times in the last month and 2 parcels ended up being returned to sender. Rubbish delivery driver rubbish company who wont even help when you ring them. I've now had to select to go to the post office so I actually get my parcel why people still use dpd I will never know just useless!!!

Paid extra to have delivery on Sunday as I can't make it any other day of the week. Now that is delayed and you will probably come to bang my door every single day of the week. Sorry guys it's today or never, and Vodafone won't be happy when I will be forced to cancel my agreement with them due to your negligence. Deliver it today please.

My delivery was meant to be delivered between 1515&1615 today.
Then got a notification saying it would ve delivered by 2000.
To then say I've requested to change delivery date for tomorrow - what a load of rubbish!!!
DPD are the nations WORST delivery service.

Worse than Evri somehow. Never ring the bell (or if they do, we see on the CCTV its after they have thrown the parcels and are already walking away). They drop food parcels over high gates into mud while we are home. Deliver to the wrong location. Apparently a sign with an arrow pointing to the bell that says "Deliveries - Ring Bell", or one clearly showing that its the wrong/inaccessible access is in the wrong language.
Then we get notifications it's delivered to 'safe place'. I'd argue that right on a main road, in mud or rain is not a safe place.

No point marking as a problem with delivery as they never respond or change behaviour and its impossible to actually talk to the depot to raise any issues.

Avoid at all costs.

I rarely leave bad reviews (see hundreds of others i've left), so you have to be especially atrocious to get 1 star from me. They don't deserve any stars or business.
