When this post office opened after the shutting of the larger branch further up the town it was great news and a great service being continued for the townsfolk. However I have been met with abruptness bordering on rudeness by a female member of staff. The first few times using the services I let it slide as we can all have off days at work. However this morning when trying to post a royal mail parcel, and querying using the drop boxes locally I was spoken to in a disgusting manner. she interrupted me before I had finished speaking, was blunt in her responses, did not once say please or thank you, and her general demeanour was of one who couldn't be bothered.

In my opinion this woman should not be working in customer service. Both myself and my partner have experienced this from her and from now on we will be using the service elsewhere, which is a real shame. I recall an older lady who worked in the larger branch before it closed down whose manners with customers was impeccable. There is a man who sometimes works the till and he has always been well mannered and helpful. This review does not reflect him in any way, but your business partner is letting you down. Civility costs nothing.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. I found myself in an embarrassing situation with my bank card which, unknown to me, had been blocked by my bank. They managed the situation well and we're very empathetic. They helped me get my very important documents sent and I cannot recommend them enough. They do a great job and are very focused on providing the highest quality of service to the community. Please use this post office and support them. They're doing a brilliant job.

Mel is great! She went above and beyond when I was dealing with a difficult return. I could only get a Print at home label from this company and she offered to print it for me at her place.
