I've received a rude and snappy service on every occasion at this post office. The irascible male staff member seems to be highly-strung and very easily annoyed; short-tempered. He is not a people person. I recommend that you avoid this establishment like the plague.

The rude and unhelpful people I (and many others) wrote about before have gone. The new Postmaster is completely different - helpful, friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. I have been going to this post office for years, but lately stopped because the customer service had been so appalling, but I am delighted it is under new management - it's great to have a friendly local post office again. I hope other customers will return too.

After being advised by DVLA (via telephone and online) that I could renew my driving licence at this post office, I was more than disappointed to be told "we are only a small post office, you have to go to a main one". I will not be returning.

I urge you not to read reviews longer than a couple of months old

Deleted my previous review because the awful owners are finally gone!!
Anthony the new postmaster is the polar opposite, he couldn't be more friendly, polite and so helpful! So pleased we have a functioning post office and shop back

Usually my first choice of post office and I go of my way to use it. I checked the website and the opening times say 8.30am. I arrived at 8.40am. Closed. Lady arrived and watched me walk back to my car. Said nothing. She unlocked the door and left it ajar. I walked back from my car. She looked at me and locked the door. Rude. All it would have taken was an apology and to tell me what time she was opening. Won't use again.

Extremely rude staff who ignored me for a long time leaving me waiting at the till. On numerous occasions it they have overcharged for postage, charging the price of a parcel for a large letter. I don't usually leave reviews but wanted to advise not to go to this post office, and go elsewhere to avoid swindling, unkind staff
