We had a last minute print request for the same day which they managed to turn around in 2 hours. They were super efficient and fast. The quality of the print was great too. I'd definitely recommend them.

We enquired here three years ago to print some wedding invitations. We were told that they could not help us with our request without any proper reason, and were quite rude in the process. Left disappointed.

Absolute Rip Off Establishment, went to ask about getting a letter laminated, before we had even got to that cost, I was told it would be £2 to use their scissors to cut it down to size I wanted. Needless to say walked out, lost business for them, cheaper to go and buy my own scissors new. Rude staff as welll

Flabbergasted by the utter incompetence that I’ve just experienced! Sent a pdf for printing in a booklet x5 a few hours ahead of collection. Surely this is an easy, common request? The poor woman who was working alone hadn’t a shred of knowledge about using the printer or photocopier, or computer! The whole sorry saga took over an hour and only ended because I took over and did it myself. To top it off, the comedy of errors ended with us being charged nearly £40 for 5 20-page booklets. When questioned, the price suddenly dropped to £16. We left in a hurry!!

There’s somebody at the Hitchin branch of Mail Boxes Etc whose attitude stinks! His name is Paul and his whole demeanour is unnecessarily aggressive, rude and argumentative. I have only dealt with him over the phone, but he simply should not be allowed to work in a public facing company.

I wanted to post a guitar I sold on eBay (something I have done multiple times, in other branches of Mail Boxes Etc, including Hitchin). I know full well how much postage costs (usually well under £35, including packaging), but angry and unhelpful Paul insisted that the price for ANYTHING would be £47.62. That included Parcelforce 48 and 24 hour service. I still don’t know exactly what I paid for. Paul told me that packaging alone would cost a round figure of £35 and that there were no other options or carriers available. When I challenged that I had paid far less in the past, he implied that I was lying.

I don’t know if Paul is on commission for items he posts, but I was forced to pay the full £47.62 as I had left the guitar at the branch a day before, because Paul wasn’t in that day and I was told that he would be the only employee who would be able to arrange shipping.

Paul was very patronising, rude and aggressive when I asked if there were any other options. I told him that because he had my guitar (and because had left the buyer waiting), I had no option but to pay the amount he had quoted. His reply was “Nah, you can come and get the guitar or we can keep it forever!”. I’m not even exaggerating. Regardless of whether he was joking or not, your employee should not threaten to steal customers’ belongings.

During both of my phone conversations with your borderline-hostile employee, he constantly sighed under his breath, as if the sheer thought of doing anything resembling his job description was too much effort.

I have never been given a tracking number from the Hitchin branch on the three separate occasions that I have posted items from the shop, despite chasing them up every time. Paul told this was because I provided the wrong email address. I gave an alternative email address and Paul reluctantly gave me a tracking number (after much persuading). The tracking number was invalid. He also, eventually, gave me the receipt I asked for several times.

I hope my guitar arrives safely at the buyer’s address. I urge anybody posting valuable or large items to think twice before dealing with Mail Boxes Etc in Hitchin.

I use Mail Boxes for sending parcels and posting letters. I have recently started using them to print engineering drawings in pdf for sizes up to and including A0. I find the proprietor and his staff extremely competent and courteous. The prices that are charged are extremely competitive.

I called to ask if they had large moving boxes or packing tape available and within a few minutes Paul had sent me an email with all their box types as well as a list of their packing tapes. Very helpful with selection.

Only place in surrounding areas to drop of a fedex parcel, luckily gentleman was helpful as needed another part-invoice to attach to make sure parcel would be taken (being sent to United States) so for a small fee this was sorted, will be using in future. Thank you
