I’m not one to usually write bad reviews but this has become completely unacceptable.

The postmen NEVER ring my door bell for any parcels I’ve had in the past and I ALWAYS have to redirect my parcels to the post office for pickup. I always get emails saying “no one was home” even if I’ve took the full day off to wait at home for my parcel!

I recently ordered a parcel which was meant to arrive last week. The parcel was sent to the depot but wasn’t delivered out on time. The postmen then apparently “attempted to deliver” on numerous occasions when I’ve been in all day and not once did my doorbell get ran, I also didn’t get a red card in my post box saying a delivery was attempted so I do wonder if they even went down my street!?

I then went into the post Office Depot to discuss this however this was not much help. I then redirect my parcel to a post office which was meant to be delivered on Saturday, it’s now Monday and this was never delivered there. I got a notification today saying “no one was in”, please tell me how “no one was in” at a post office!!!!

I now how to leave town for a few weeks and don’t have my package and I will be going abroad so there’s no other time for me to collect my parcel which I needed 2 weeks in advance to my holiday!

This keeps happening, the postmen are lazy and not doing their job properly, and from looking at the reviews, I’m not the only one affected by this!

I had an update on my tracking reference number stating that my parcel had arrived at Lincoln DO on the 22nd March 2025 and would be delivered to me between 10.31am - 2.31pm on that day. Surprise, surprise it never arrived and it still hasn't. I have tried contacting Royal Mail on several occasions- 03457 740740. Only a computer voice with options of delivery dates, yes you've guessed, keeps telling me my parcel is arriving today!!😡

Friendly staff. I missed my delivery because I was in the garden and needed it that day. Went to the delivery office a few hours later and they were able to find it for me and hand it over! 👍🏼
If you’re in the same position I recommend going after 4 when the posties are back from their route 🙂

Absolutely shocking! shows up on dates it’s not supposed to. expects you to sit around and wait so day for them god Forbid you work or have a doctors appointment. why they carnt give you a two hour slot window is beyond me. carnt read instructions like a note on the door asking to leave the parcel with a neighbour. i always feel anxious when i find out my parcel is with royal mail now because they always fail to do the job.

Liars!!! I' have been waiting to receive my medication today! I received an email (no card in my letterbox) that they couldn't access my address and that they'll try tomorrow! Having spoken to several neighbours who are out doing their gardens, not one of them had seen a post person of any description!! Because I live in the countryside, it appears that they're too lazy to come out here for just one item....Currently sat on their pathetic complaints hotline....No option to email or anything...Rubbish!!!

I’m not one to leave reviews but today I went to collect a parcel which by my mistake was the wrong location. However the customer service here is beyond terrible you are open 8-10am 4-6pm the least you could do is provide a nicer tone and guide customers in the correct direction so we don’t have to turn up and ‘bother’ you. Never had problems with the Royal Mail as such but this specific location was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received!

I came home from work today to find a card from Royal Mail that no one had opened. I thought I'd go pick up my package on my first day off. After a few hours I checked my email and saw that my package had been delivered and was in a safe place. I don't have safe plase and I think of the garbage cans. I look into the cauldron that was collected today and see my package inside. The whole box is dirty and wet. I just have nothing more to say. Disgusting service. And in my shipment there were nutritional supplements that people packed carefully. Horror.

We get post 1 day a week on.my area, the excuse is they under revision. Over and over. If they don't wish to deliver post then shut down
