Absolutely avoid this company, they had booked me in for 8am, didn't turn up until 11:30. I was supposed to be at work for 11 so had to give up my shift costing me 8 hours of work. I called at 8:20 asking where they were told me they'd be half an hour, called again at 9:20 to be told they were held up in Sheffield and couldn't get to be until 11-12, told them I had to be at work but guy in the office (Chris) just said oh well just blame us and go in later. Apparently they think that's how jobs work, you can just turn up whenever you like. When I spoke to the guys who came to do the move they told me they were booked in for Sheffield at 8:30, so I wasn't even booked for then, and apparently this happens all the time. So they obviously just overbook and take people's money whilst making up times.

I gave them a 3 star review which I thought was more than fair, but I also emailed asking for a partial refund of £100 (I paid £180) to cover what I lost by giving up my shift due to their negligence. No one replied to my email, I had to then call them multiple times to get someone to talk to me. They agreed to refund me as long as I changed my review to a 5 star. When the refund came through they only refunded me £50, which at this point I'll take what I can get. But do yourself a favour and absolutely avoid this shambles of a company

Although I have to say, Ian Jeff and Dave were absolutely brilliant, they moved everything with quickly but with care. Such lovely guys too cannot fault them.

Fabulous service. 3 fellas that moved me were so professional and respectful, really took care of my belongings.

Stay Away from Tiger Removals: A Waste of Time and Money

If you are planning to book with Tiger Removals, consider the following points:

Time: They value their time but not yours.
Service: Don’t expect good service from them.
Quality: They don’t care about your products and items.
Trust: They won’t deliver what they promise.
Money: It’s a waste of money.
Satisfaction: Not worth it.
Unrealistic stories: Get ready to hear unbelievable stories from them as excuse.

Detailed Review

Time: They value their time and not yours. My booking was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but they kept delaying. Initially, they said they would come by 11:00 AM, then 1:05 PM, and finally arrived at 2:00 PM.

Service & Quality: The service was terrible. They handled everything carelessly, throwing boxes from the first floor to the ground and sliding furniture. They broke my chest of drawers and promised to fix it but left everything as it is, claiming they couldn’t work more because it was Saturday evening. When I complained to Chris, they lied, saying I had asked them to skip the repair. Items were not placed in designated locations, and the crew was rude.
Few items they just put in the front of the house and left without informing.

Trust: Don’t trust them. They agreed for a 5-ton Luton van, but they sent a 3.5-ton van. They promised to dismantle the sofa, but the person who came said that it was not in the contract and he don’t have skills to dismantle it and he left it. I had to dismantle and transfer it myself. When I informed Chris, he twisted my words and blackmailed me, saying he would move the sofa only if I agreed not to leave a review online.

Money: They only care about their money and time, not yours. They didn’t offer any compensation for the broken chest of drawers or anything else.

Unrealistic Stories:
They claimed I agreed to skip the broken chest of drawers. Why would I do that?
They sent a small vehicle and blamed it on an operational mistake.
The crew was not skilled in sofa removal, which was my main request.
They claimed to have suspended the crew for not meeting expectations, which I find hard to believe.

Conclusion
Do not book with Tiger Removals. They are untrustworthy, provide poor service, and are a waste of time and money.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! Ian, Fred, and Dave from Tigers Removals were an absolute dream team on our moving day. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient — nothing was too much trouble. They handled everything with care and attention, and their friendly, can-do attitude made what could have been a stressful day go incredibly smoothly. It was clear they really knew what they were doing, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine. A 5-star service received from Tigers Removals. They were professional from the first contact and their communication has been excellent.
They arrived this morning, on time, after ringing to confirm their eta. The lads were courteous, friendly and hard working and quickly had our belongings loaded.
As this was a national move, they departed swiftly and arrived in Hull in plenty of time.
They unloaded just as quickly and double checked what room each item needed to be located in.
All items were handled with care, and even our glass tables arrived unscathed.

The guys are lovely and professional, they took really good care of my belongings and went above and beyond to make sure they could find a way to get all of my furniture in. Avoid.
Got full-blown yelled at over the phone when trying to rearrange for a treadmill to get disassembled, transported and reassembled. It should have been done when the rest of our stuff got moved, but the one guy who can do it was not assigned to the job - brilliant management and planning. Seems to me that as you already had the full payment for the job, we were no longer treated as a priority and had to keep chasing for this to get done.
When it got put off yet again due to a family emergency within the company, I called what I thought to be a landline office number to see if it could be rearranged. A gentleman answered and I politely explained the situation. Turns out the person I was speaking to was affected by aforementioned emergency. I wouldn't expect someone in a crisis to be answering the phone but they did. I explained that it would be good to lock down a new date and time because we only have the house for a few more days and we still have cleaning left to do. All I got back were vague reassurances and no concrete dates.
The final seconds of the call were full-blown yelling in an aggressive tone.
I was so stunned and shaken that I was unable to speak. I pulled the phone slowly away from my ear, something else got said that I couldn't make out and then I hung up. I then called my partner to explain what had happened and was in tears.
I have been working in customer service my entire adult life and in two different countries, and I would not nor have I ever spoken to someone the way I was spoken to.
If you cannot handle customer queries in a courteous and professional manner, you should not be answering the phone.
I understand that this person was unable to assist there and then over the phone, but then point me to someone else who can. Don't get angry with me when I am only enquiring about an unfinished job that you have already had payment for.
There is no excuse for speaking to someone like that.
In the end, the treadmill did get moved but it was not installed properly. And there are lots of big scratches all over it - see attached pictures. My expensive treadmill went from looking pristine to this.
Terrible company with even worse management. AVOID.
Am now trying to get the company to take responsibility and offer some kind of compensation but all messages are being ignored now. Hope this review can serve as a warning to others.
