As an independent voluntary charitable organisation, when disaster struck our building, we needed help urgently. The Jewson, Hexham staff were absolute saviours. Nothing was too much trouble; their patience and kindness were very much appreciated. Jeff and Steven couldn't have done any more to help us. Deliveries were arranged promptly, and communication was excellent. Personally, if I could choose anyone, for the award of employee of the month, it would be Steven, who went above and beyond to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible, even when technology proved troublesome! Thank you, Steven. Your calmness and problem-solving abilities are very much appreciated, as you helped provide solutions in a very stressful situation. What a brilliant shop and staff! I went in yesterday to try and replace a kitchen door cabinet hinge. It was quite old and I had no idea of make and model. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and I was successfully sorted out with a different but compatible component. Professional, friendly and helpful - what more cold a customer want!

I Have had an account with M.C. Since the dawn of time and I’ve always found their staff helpful and cheerful throughout the region. Julie, fireplaces and stoves, at Hexham, was particularly helpful as I had a difficult and not straightforward fireplace job which involved ordering more materials than originally thought necessary. Julie ordered this and made sure I was kept up to date with the delivery and pick up time … throughout our dealings I found Her to be informed and helpful empathic and conscientious.

Brilliant.
Popped in for some wood for jobs in the garden and a member of staff from the wood cutting section stepped in to help me. Showed me where I needed to go, helped me select the best pieces and the cut them. Prices quoted were cheap and will definitely use this establishment again.
