We used Woods 9 years ago and they did an excellent job. So we used them again thinking it would be the same experience. Not so I'm afraid. In the meantime the company had been sold and although the chaps doing the work were pleasant and hard working they were let down by the management. It was a four day move - we had 5 chaps the first day, 4 the next, 3 the next and 3 for most of the last day. It really needed 4 chaps for the 4 days and they had to bring 2 men and a vehicle from another depot on the last day and they were working with lamps until nearly 8pm. It was rather a rush in the end and regrettably some things didn't end up where we wanted them! But the team worked hard and very pleasantly. And they came back and took away all the empty boxes! It could have been a lot worse!!

Had Chris and Alfie move me on Monday, they were both amazing and very helpful. They were both professional and chatty making sure to keep all my possessions safe and secure during the transit. They helped me build my kitchen table and the bed in my master bedroom. If you are thinking of getting a removal company in to help, look no further than Woods. I want to express the deepest gratitude of my wife and myself to Woods and in particular to the amazingly cheerful and skilful work undertake at both ends by Martyn Macleod and the team (Tim, Graham and 2 Lewis’s). One cannot say more that that they were marvellous and absolutely delightful to have around. They were also extremely sensible and helpful over what has been quite a tight move at both ends.

I am at the receiving end in Kent and frankly I will miss them when they depart shortly !
