Acorn construction built our rear extension on a semi-detached house in London. Paul project managed the project and was excellent throughout. A clear communicator who listened and adapted the plan to suit our needs. Especially good with kitchens.

The craftsmen on the project were genuinely incredible. The finish on the carpentry and flooring are really high quality and exceed our expectations.

Acorn Construction did an amazing job building our side and rear kitchen extension (with utility area and shower room). They also installed new fencing and updated our garden. The 6 month project was on time and on budget and managed brilliantly by Colin. Colin and his team's work is of a very high standard. We worked closely with Colin who gave us really good advice on choices of materials and appliances. Colin and his team showed a close attention to detail and followed our brief delivering our dream house. The team were always professional, tidy, courteous and friendly. Acorn did a brilliant job building our side return kitchen extension. Colin was a huge support from the first minute we met him all the way through to the end of the process and it was a genuine pleasure working with him and his team.

From our first meeting, my partner and I felt reassured we were in very capable and safe hands as Colin really took the time to listen to our brief and took particular note of what was important to us. Throughout the build, every time we were introduced to a new member of Colin's team they were extremely friendly, efficient and capable.

We are extremely pleased with the outcome and overall quality of the finish and it was evident that was clearly very important to Colin too.

Acorn carried out a rear extension with patio, garage conversion and refurbishment of our old and tired 1930 house. We used Acorn to build our loft and extension because we were very impressed with the work they did for our neighbours and they didn’t disappoint. Paul and his team were superb. From start to finish they provided us with a brilliant, professional service and the finish of the end product is to a high standard.

Paul was very accommodating and extremely patient with all our questions . When there were concerns or issues they rectified them in a timely manner. Paul and his team were very good at problem solving be it to address unforeseen issues arising during the project or coming up with cost saving solutions that still met the project’s standards.

All the workman were very professional, hard working and polite.

During the extension phase Acorn set up a temporary kitchen in our 1st floor spare bedroom where we could still cook, wash up and do laundry. Having our washing machine and fridge moved into this temporary kitchen made the whole extension phase a lot more easy to cope with.

Renovation is a daunting prospect. We are very lucky to have had Paul and his team to help us navigate through the process. We thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of embarking on this journey to their dream home.

Colin and his Team did a high quality job on our loft conversion and rear extension. It was a long project, with the loft conversion undertaken first, followed by the rear extension including a new kitchen, but we were able to continue living in the house with 2 young children throughout thanks to how it was managed. A temporary kitchen was set up for us in the loft whilst the new one was installed and this exceeded our expectations in terms of our ability to continue to have access to a dishwasher, washing machine and cooking facilities etc.

We effectively started with an idea of what we wanted but no plan as to how to achieve it - Colin guided us through the process, putting us in contact with a local architect and staying involved throughout.

Once the work started, Colin was very responsive to any issues and got these quickly resolved.

The end result was excellent and we are very pleased with how it all looks.

We extended into the loft and opened up and out the back of our house. Answered all our queries; provided detailed worksheets with costing and timeline; excellent workmanship; clean; tidy; prompt; always picked up my many calls - I could go on. Colin has a wealth of experience and nothing was beyond him. We encountered difficulties with our local council and Colin and Ting helped keep us calm and came up with solutions.
