I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Sam ( who only works weekends) for his help yesterday— he was truly incredible! From the moment we asked for help, he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and explained everything super thoroughly. What really stood out was his kindness and thoughtfulness — when we mentioned my dad has a bad back due to a car accident, Sam didn’t hesitate to offer to carry our items all the way to the car.

His friendly attitude, patience, and willingness to help made such a difference to our visit. You don’t often come across people who are not only efficient but genuinely kind, and Sam was both. He absolutely deserves to be recognised for the brilliant service he provided. Truly an exceptional experience. Thank you, Sam — you really made our day!

I was returning some heavy items but had my 5 month old baby with me. On fetching a trolley to get the wall tiles out of my car, a lovely man Andy came running over to see if I needed help. He assisted by getting the items out of my car and then took me into the store to the tills. A lovely man called Terry then helped me through the tills to process my return.
I was so grateful as my son was with me, they both made the process stress free and couldn't have been more caring and compassionate.
Thank you both, you deserve a massive 👏 from head office for your customer service

We brought a vytronix vacuum cleaner recently, this product is not fit for purpose, we got it for use in the kitchen, it throws out more than it picks up. Waste if money it was ok the 1st couple of weeks.. unfortunately this product is/was waste of money....

God damn useless why do you bother having a website and thousands of employees if not even one can update it and tell us when your actually closed..... You do. Know ai exists now days you could give that the task of updating your websites seeing as your all so bloody useless

My partner and I bought a large pot of Good Home paint (matt - Almeria). When we opened it, it the paint was very thin and smelt like manure. I attempted to return it with the receipt, but was ticked off by the sales assistant in the paint department for not having had it stirred in the first place (even though there was no one there to ask on initial purchase) and I had also stirred it thoroughly myself. In short, total refusal to refund, replace or otherwise. I returned home with the sorry pot of paint and used it, only to have it turn out exactly as expected. Terrible quality, thin, smelly, didn't last at all - 24 hours of drying and one rain shower later and it looks unsightly, mottled and the paint is peeling off. Had to do 4 coats in the first place, just to remotely cover. It's supposed to be for the garden, to protect, for stone, metal and wood!!! Dreadful. Awful customer service policy too. Basically, if the product is bad quality it's not B&Qs problem. I urge you to go elsewhere. And on a general note, the store itself is like entering the Twilight Zone. There are a few staff hanging around the self-checkout, but it's another place that's suffered from profit versus service. I'm not someone who likes leaving negative reviews.
