As docks go, I love this place. Straightforward, simple procedure, driver facilities on the way in, no having to drive a mile to your grid spot.
As others have said when it’s going well it goes well & you can box off & on in less than 20 minutes. When it’s busy you can be there a good couple of hours though.

This place is very dated as ports go. Mind you it’s probably the oldest port in London anyhow. Watch for pot holes and speed humps. VBS screens don’t like fingers - use knuckle or thumbs and put vbs number in as quickly as possible as you’ll lose your session and you’ll have to start all over again. They do detect your registration plate quickly though. The crane operators are good if you get one in a good mood. If not expect a heavy landing!! Don’t stay in cab when they give you a beep. Some will drop anyway - others won’t and will wait till you exit the cab and stand by the front of your vehicle. There are other businesses at this port including Paper and Grain and a rail freight part too. Security at gate is ‘hit and miss’ happy. security are nice, but some non English security guards are sometimes harassed and rude and are up themselves . So make sure you get a ticket before you leave the port!!
