Tom and his team at Bonar and Sons were incredibly helpful with packing and moving our house. They were friendly, responsive to messages and made the whole process much easier. They packed the whole house really quickly and efficiently and labelled the boxes really well, which was really useful when we had to unpack! Having had the problem of moving house 6 times in the last 8 years I can say for sure that Bonar & Son are absolutely one of the best choices you can make. Unlike many others, they answer the phone, or call back promptly, come and do the quote on time, show up on time, load very carefully (and their whole team were a class act) and unload just as well. Plastic covering the carpets all over, a real focus on minimum impact from the whole process. Others I've used were generally very good too but Bonar's are really top shelf.

Needless to say - highly recommended and will definitely be planning to use them when we move again next year!!

Tom, Tim, Calvin, and Andy were wonderful from start to finish. We moved from Hemingford Grey to Peterborough this week. Moving after 13 years and with 3 small kids, we anticipated some stress. However, the boys made the move easy for us. They were focused, organised, and attended to any queries. The packing, moving, and unpacking was to a very high standard. They did an incredible job, were cheerful, and seemed to love their work !!

We are so grateful for all they have done for us over 3 days. The work is physically demanding and not the easiest. And we must mention Emma, who was our first contact. We wish them the very best.

From start to finish the service - admin, comms, etc was impeccable. We used the removals service where we did our own packing. They provided boxes, paper and tape. The team are very courageous at all times, friendly, professional and genuine. You get the impression they really enjoy their work, and it’s relentless hard graft but they never stopped smiling and nothing was too much trouble. I would say their approach took all the stress out of moving for us. At the end they asked us to look around the rooms to see if we wanting anything moving before they left. They even spotted that we had a couple of wasps nests so we were able to get someone in immediately to deal with them. We highly recommend Bonar & Son, they really do know their craft.

What an amazing team! We recently had a large house move and Bonar & Son handled the packing and moving of everything (including an upright piano). From the initial visit by Emma, to the end of Moving Day we felt we were in safe hands. They cheerfully got on with the packing and moving over three days, during which time they also had snow and rain to contend with, not to mention a very tricky driveway to handle (well done Tom!). They were very friendly, and worked fast but competently, and there was not a single complaint about the awkwardness of the staircases in our new house, even though there were about 40 heavy boxes of books to be be taken up two floors! Even at the very end (7:30 in the evening) they were attentive to our wishes, and were prepared to moved heavy furniture around as we found we needed to change some of the rooms around. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and will definitely use them again if we need to move in the future. Thank you all for all your hard work!
