I would’ve given them more stars but the way they did me in the end was just horrible and took me some time to get over. I applied for the seasonal position here back in May and was finally told that I could start June 22nd after initially being told that I would be starting July 5th from a guy in HR over the phone. Anyway, orientation and training was a breeze and the orientation trainer told us that it wasn’t an guarantee that we would get on permanent but that sometimes they will hire you on permanent depending on several factors like your attendance, performance and occurrences.

I had a trainer named Sarah who was really really sweet and the lead Yaya was sweet as well until the last week I seen her, her attitude was different but I felt she was probably overwhelmed from all the responsibilities she had on the floor. Also, they had people working in HR that didn’t know how to do anything and were basically just getting paid for free if you ask me! Whenever I needed points removed from using my PPTO… I was told that I had two weeks to use my PPTO to take away a point but when I approach them for help with that all of a sudden they claim they don’t handle points anymore. Like really!!! Y’all are HR so do your freaking job!

The worst part is when the lead Yaya left for some weeks and left us with Diana as the new lead, the lines were always breaking down; the totes would stop coming down the line to where it would affect our uph and the computer screens would freeze in the middle of you entering in valuable information. Ms Diana always found herself picking on me for some odd reason. I heard that she wasn’t too fond of females but why hate on someone that’s not standing around talking all the time & actually doing their job and meeting the uph! She would ask questions like what can we do to improve the decant department etc and I would give my honest opinion just for them later to stab me in my back for being honest.

Long story short they ended up sending me to the office just for them to tell me that my seasonal position ended but ended up hiring on everyone else I worked with permanent from seasonal. The last day that I worked there on August 26th, they sent in 18 new people which were all Hispanics who didn’t know English. I was so furiated when I seen that cause I was initially told that the seasonal position would last at least 120 days and I was only there for 60.

I would say that other than all the unprofessionalism, this place is always kept really clean, they feed you a lot of times, most of the warehouse workers are friendly and they pay you well. I was told that I would never be able to ever work here again, not even after 6 months. I was hurt when I was told that over the phone but maybe it’s for the best!

This is absolutely the WORST Walmart DC I've ever been to. I arrived 1 hour before delivery scheduled @23:59 on 11/15/23. I was told my delivery was not a priority. I sat in the driveway between the two guard shacks for 33 hours, finally getting a door 8am 11/17/23 and was unloaded less than an hour. This place I will NEVER deliver again. Totally unorganized and poor management. The guard shack lady's was GREAT, very helpful and concerned about drivers' well-being. If there is anything called negative stars, I would happily give this place -5 star review!!!

Place is not the place you want to come to. I showed up for a 1pm appointment @ 12:10pm they told me no, cant take you in until exactly @ 01:00pm. I thought this was a walmart distribution center, apparently not. I tried to walk into the guard shack and got looked at nasty and asked what I was doing, so dont do that, stay in your truck, and cross your fingers and hope you make it at the exact time next time. Also, there is no parking anywhere nearby they will tell you theres a one 9 down the street, yeah right, all the spots are taken up by the local people that live there, day and night.
Or try driving to considered one of the deadliest truckstop in america 20 miles down the road . Goodluck.

Delivery, take 15 minutes to check in at the guard shack if there are no trucks in line, drop your trailer at a given spot in the drop yard, bobtail to the traffic office to turn in the paper and let them know that you are live unload. They'll call you back to the office for your papers and where to get your empty in the yard after 2 hours. The in & out times to make a delivery at this Walmart DC is about 2.5 hours
