Model 01 - Standard height bed
This bed is fabulous! Excellent quality and well made using traditional method, colour is beautiful I went for walnut stain. It is very easy to put together too!

Approximately, 2 weeks from order to delivery as they are made to order so not sat in a warehouse which I think is great!
Customer service and communication is fantastic.
A great company, who I absolutely recommend and I will definitely purchase from again.

Found the wooden bed company online, the frames are original and I hadn’t seen anything like them on the more commercial websites. Ordering was easy and my frame came within the 2 weeks estimated for build/dispatch stated.
The bed itself was well crafted, I ordered a model 01 and a under bed draw in walnut and the colour was a match for what I saw online. I put the bed together with the instructions supplied and it was easy enough no problems putting it together. I love the look of the frame and it’s really sturdy. Really really happy with it.
The customer service is excellent also, I asked for an estimated date of dispatched and they got straight back to me, no automated messages and they gave me a call for a delivery date and it came bang on time. All in all a really good experience with The Wooden Bed Company highly recommend.

We bought two lovely twin beds from The Wooden Bed Company that can also be put together as a double - we really appreciate the stunning craftsmanship!
Also, the instructions are clear, the assembly was easy and straightforward, and the headboards are beautifully matching (cut from one piece). The headboards are a bit too high for my taste, but it's something I can address easily by drilling new holes in the back legs - so no problem; just my aesthetic preference. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great, responsive service. Cut our bed to custom size for very reasonable cost. Hand held the courier delivery. And the product is beautiful. I plan to buy more if and when I’m in the market again.

I searched for a divan bed or similar to be able to use the fitted headboard but was disappointed at what was generally on offer. Then I found The Wooden Bed Company and was thrilled to see they had a platform bed! Great price, well packaged and delivered on time.
It's lovely to be able to buy British and receive a quality item like this bed. I am so happy with my purchase. When we change our other bed we will definitely be headed back here.

MODEL 03 KING
After searching for a king size pine bed found one in argos that seemed to tick all the boxes, until I read some of the reviews about it collapsing on the central strut as flimsy and bad design. So looked at it more closely and indeed it is a very poor design with all the weight on the centre and standard bolt together construction.

So searched again and fortunately found this company.
This bed is very strong very well built with traditional tongue and groove construction, with strong slats the full width of the bed and a very strong sturdy central strut.

The bed was easy to put together though would recommend two people a mallet and block as joints exact and a electric screwdriver for faster build.

Customer service is fantastic and the bed not even built until order was processed, then received a call to arrange delivery once completed which took about ten days but was over easter period.

Would recommend this company and would definitely use again if ever needed another bed for spare room etc.
