We boarded the 7am from Oban as foot passengers. It arrives Coll 955 and then onto Tiree, arriving 1050. I love the islands and the scenery. There is also something unique about the food culture on the ferries. Not for the faint heart. I had a roll n square slice. The menu is below. The ferry, MV Clansman, was quiet. Plenty of seats. We had a very calm crossing.

Stay away from these clowns!!

I made a reservation more than a months ago. Today they send a mail and say they are overbooked and are rescheduling my trip to the evening, instead of morning. Trip plans ruined.

It took them 6 weeks to realize they were overbooked.
They choose the most cowardly course of action by sending a mail to the customer, without us having any say or choice on it.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I love sailing on calmac the staff are always very friendly and helpful we use calmac 2 or 3 times a year. And even though there is no alternative it's calmac or nothing, they provide an excellent service and the staff are a credit to the company
