I had such a wonderful afternoon learning about the distillery site. I met Lynn who took me on the wee tour which was lovely having dropped in un-announced and the. I also caught up with Abbie and Olivier afterwards. The site is beautiful and traditional and clearly working to innovate and the people I met were wonderfully kind and friendly with so much knowledge and passion for what they do and where they are. I also tried some drams and boy do they pack a refreshing punch! I've even been converted to peated scotch (but only if it's Ledaig!). What a fantastic experience. Thanks to the team for making it such a special visit.

Highly recommend visiting this distillery. Have done a few distilleries before but this one really stood out. Abbie was our guide and was very knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable for everyone (even for the non-whisky drinkers!)

Really enjoyed the tasting of both whiskies at Tobermorey Distillery. Made to feel welcome as soon as we got inside the distillery. Olivier was knowledgeable and engaging as he talked us through the different whiskies on offer. Would recommend the experience.

How is it more expensive to buy Tobermory gin in the Tobermory Distillery Visitors Centre than it is from Amazon?
It’s certainly not to cover the cost of in-store sampling as there was non just like the customer service / care.
Total opposite to what we had experienced the previous day at the Jura distillery where they were so welcoming, hospitable and very generous with numerous samples that resulted in several of our group buying multiple bottles.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tobermory Distillery for their whisky tour, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, instantly making us feel welcome. They shared fascinating insights into the distillery's history and the intricate process of whisky-making, which made the tour both educational and thoroughly enjoyable.

The whisky tasting was a real highlight, and even though one member of our group doesn’t drink, they still found the tour fascinating thanks to the guide’s engaging explanations and the rich history of the distillery. It’s an experience that caters to everyone.

The distillery itself is full of charm, and the stunning surroundings of Tobermory only added to the experience. Overall, the Tobermory whisky tour is a must for any whisky enthusiast or anyone looking for a fun and informative day out. I highly recommend it!

I was already a fan of Tobermory's whiskies (and their gin) before my tasting, so I did a reserve tasting at the distillery and was wowed by the quality of the whiskies we tried (and bought a delicious port-finished whisky).
Great, informative small-group tasting; worth every penny.
