Ordered an item from Argos Stornoway and collected it , realised it was too big and went back to exchange for a smaller one . We couldn’t find our E mail receipt and were told by a very dismissive young assistant that she had to have our E mail receipt before she would exchange the item . I asked to see the manager who was very pleasant but still couldn’t resolve the matter. Fortunately a very calm and component assistant called Dannie offered to help and gave me her wi fi log in and we managed to download the receipt . She was an absolute delight and a credit to Argos . I appreciate we should have been able to present our E mail receipt but did not expect to be met with such an unhelpful attitude from the assistant , who , in my opinion , should be sent on a training course on developing good customer relations or be relegated to the store room .

Absolutely excellent service yesterday. Took some Christmas lights back to exchange and the staff were so helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered a fridge online and was told they would deliver only to get a call the next day telling me they didn't deliver large items and if I still wanted it I would have to arrange pick up and delivery. Most companies don't deliver to the island or at ridiculous cost but thought Argos would do better, guess not. Got one from Amazon.

I have to say Argos is one of the best things to happen to Stornoway, brilliant customer service, the very few times I have had an issue with a product, like the time I bought a washing line way to big for my garden, they returned no questions asked and swapped it for one more suitable, even though the box was open etc, very few places do this. No where else can you get massive items like washing machines for a few quid delivery to the island, also the AMAZING eBay collection point thing, almost completely eradicates other companies excuses for not posting to highlands and islands. What other shop can you look up genuine customer reviews of products, book immediately on your phone and collect minutes later? Saves the need for expensive £160+ trips to the mainland and days off work to get there!

No staff!! Means can't pick items up at the back no staff to take items to car. Staff with dirty finger nails. Are Argos trying to get more money by doing paid deliveries!!! Gone down hill rapidly.

Staff not bothered tried to go in my lunch Hour and found they were stood around talking and it left a elderly lady who they told to stand there and wait and forgotten about her. I tried again this evening to buy a kettle and toaster and was told I’m shutting the shop 15 minutes early because I need to get my bus when I’ve made a 40 mile round trip to get to the shop thanks Argos

Great store, great staff... They even welcome my dog Roobi in the store...."Roobi's in the house"has been heard on a number of occasions.Also every time I order something it arrives in a timely manner and so far have not been dissatisfied/disappointed.Glad your hear in Stornoway.
